Peg was the Queen of Gospel Music. I have listened to the McKameys for many many years. My Mom and Dad listened to The McKameys. It is so Sad that Peg has left us. But Heaven just got Sweeter. I’m sure She kicked her shoes off as She was Walking on Holy Ground.
Oh there will never be another Peg. I can just see her as she entered heaven. I bet she’s still shouting. She was as real as they come. I loved her. My prayers to the family. God be with you all. Heaven gained a jewel that day ❤️
I could always know it was the McKameys on the radio because of Pegs beautiful voice. Now God gets to hear her in person. And it’s true… Tears keep the head from swelling…. Glad I can still be touched and cry.
Ive been so blessed to see the McKameys many times over the past 10 years. So kind and genuine. I was blessed to see them the last time they sang at Singing in the Smokies. Peg got Carole to come up on stage and sing with them. It was the only time I got to see Carole sing with them. And the interaction between Peg and Martin Cook was special when the McKameys,Inspirations,and Smokey Mountain Reunion all got up on stage the sing together. It was like a preview of the Heavenly choir! God Bless everyone,and thank God for his Blessed son,who Peg loved so dearly and proclaimed always
Hold on my husband died 6years ago it still lonely. God has been with me all the way .but it still lonely.he had cancer .it was hard .but I made it through the fire .I sold my house moved to Columbia S .C to my Daughter she built me a house side of hers .God Bless you .
Is anyone yet still living in that spirit of praise and impartation by means of the anointing they have carried well ...the knowing and understanding its all About him JESUS and the growing RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS... he's becoming more real to me each day ... thankyou Mrs peg .. I now living in that understanding you've spent your life 🎶 SINGing about JESUS...not by might nor by power but by my SPIRIT SAITH the LORD...

Please pray for Ruben. Though Peg would never want him to mourn, and God is his rock, he's only human, and he is missing her terribly.
