People don’t realise that there are more millionaires in corporate than in our SA entertainment industry. 9-5 pays, a lot. But some of yall only know blue collar 9-5s.
Truly understand why they left. I'm currently working in this industry and it is all smokes and mirrors.. the money is not bad for short term goals but long terms goals are not possible with their money because work is not always guaranteed. Most contracts are only 1 year and then renewals . If you want a quiet life you will never get it here. The bullying is crazy, it is super toxic in every imaginable way . I can write until the cows come home
Please understand being in the entertainment industry is not just about being famous and in the limelight. It is often the cause for profound personal and societal transformation. Every one has the opportunity to find their purpose in whatever field including being a creative.
Can I tell you this.. It's not just those former celebrities you've mentioned in your video who left the fame, even Candice Moodley who also left the fame, since then... currently she's a corporate services manager at EWSETA.
What you don't know is, Loyiso is Sporo Mangena's son. They have been manufacturing and selling mandrax tablets for decades. Everyone knows this so that position he has is as a result of his father and connections. They might even own shares in that company. Mandrax is big business in South Africa, we know many families that have made hundreds of millions from this and managed to put their children and children's children in the best schools and institutions and establishing generational wealth.

Some of those execs you see in organizations got there because they know people or are apart of something illegal. Had to remind people that there are other options and there's nothing wrong with doing entertainment for a living.
