We had no tour guide, only a confusing audio tour with millions of other people. So we made the best of it. Alcatraz is free to tour as it is part of the national park system with the America the Beautiful pass but the boat ride is $45 a person round trip.

Come on Stan. I know you and Bob are the same LOL. I really enjoyed it and had been looking forward to it. But what I hated the most is that there was no official tour guide and you had to kind of listen to the audio which was bad and there were so many people. So we tried to get at least the best shots of items we could and make it into something more fun since it was just a big old cluster you know what. To hear from you!
@@HetteshWorld my tour was MANY years ago. I remember they simulated a haircut on the audio. I was joining my wife on a business trip so while she worked I played tourist. I joined her on a business trip last last week which did not go well. I should have an interesting story once it is resolved. My Spyder let me down and I had to "limp home" into Nashville and after it was not fixed I had to limp home 5 hours to North Caroline.
Oh no that is horrible. That is my fear for sure. We've been on so many bumpy ass roads that I'm surprised ours hasn't acted up yet. Oh no, I should not have said that out loud. Lol Glad you are back home safe
