First, Jacko has been improving dramatically since 2021, and I have been saying repeatedly last year her body is due for a setback at least one year. What happened(?) this season opened, this season has been going on, and Jacko looks like a 21.7 runner, at best today. She’s also looking like a 10.8, maybe a lucky high 10.7 runner this year, as well. I made a comment yesterday that Jacko would likely run 21.7 in Paris, and I got clowned. I’m happy you GET it…you’re clearly paying attention. Also, BTW, ShaCarri has .91 and .92 10M splits…I say she probably won’t go sub 10.5 this year because she hasn’t had many races under her belt, but I think she’s got 10.5 in Paris all day if the conditions are good.

that's what you don't understand about Jamaicans, they are masters of peaking at the right time, and also they don't run their athletes at full speed until the World Championships or Olympics. Go back and watch Shericka Jackson's races again, watch them properly and you will observe that in all races she was barely going at 60%

I think what happens with our American runners is that competition to make a team for any individual event is so challenging. A lot of our finals have athletes that can make Olympic/finals, and people that can or have podium’d miss teams because it’s always elite athletes running elite times. Whereas other countries second best athlete doesn’t belong in the same heat as the top athlete from their country. They aren’t even seen in diamond league races. Then our USA athletes seem to fall off except the 1%. It feels like they peak for the trials and not the weeks after when it really matter, I believe this is what you’ve been saying in your videos. Why are the euros always ready to reach their apex at finals, and majority of ours choose to at trials.

I’m still on the fence with Alfreed. People are saying its that she tightened up, why she lost. I’m not sure its that she was aware of gabby and trying pull away from her, because she knows what she’s capable of towards surging in the final stretch. And Gabby had a respond back that overwhelmed her. It looked like Gabby caught up to her, and she tried to respond back with a too early lean. Anyway, alfred miscalculated and should’ve responded sooner in anticipation to whats coming of gabbys surge and ended up getting caught at the line. People say she tightened up. I think she was surprisingly caught off guard from gabbys overwhelming response. and panicked with a too early lean to Gabbys surge. Her long legs, frame, and search overwhelming her. I rarely see Gabby lose close head to heads. Either she is way in the back or way in the front. She usually out-pulls in a side by side or would make women really work. People are talking in the comment section like Gabby is someone that can easily be pushed over. I don’t see that. It looks like she can beast out fierce in a head to head. Her late surge, long galloping legs and frame that can out lean many is where most women shouldnt want to be. I see many women struggle running side by side with gabby. Its not lite work. Just like the title says. You have to blow her doors off. Doing a late surge side-by-side along with Gabby is not the ideal place for a female sprinter to be. Even seen Sherika struggle with her. You have to have her see that you’re gone and the race is already over. You have to drive the stake in gabby and out shelly Ann fraser price GAbby from out of the blocks. Than battling her side by side late in the final stretches in the race

I'm surprised that we have been doing this for years and you guys haven't caught on. Jamaican athletes coached by elite coaches (Steven Francis and Glen Mills) are masters at conserving their bodies and peaking at the right time, furthermore, they train way more than they compete, and when they run on the circuit it's only to collect data to go back to training. Rewatch all of Shericka's races this year and you will realize she has been jogging, this is something they always do........
Think about it have you noticed that we havent seen SFP or Oblique Seville compete on the circuit since trials? and Kishane has only run one other race after trials? Observe the patterns don't be fooled

Erin, your point is well made. However, Gabby's performance tends to reflect how much she has been running. By focusing on 200m she at least gives herself a chance. Granted Sherika needs to make a mistake or be hurt, but she should be in the race for the first 150m.

Gabby had talked about doubling in the 100m and the 200m. However, she tried running both at least once in the past and it did not work out well for her.

Patterns are fine ,but you have to consider the fact that she's only running the deuce . The competition outside of Shericka Jackson is not that tuff. You cant quantify in injury so easily .Every elite world class sprinter including the great, Usain Bolt will get dropped off (rolled) by multiple competitors if only at 85-90%. Do the math and think about how runners train. If Shericka is hurt, bet the field.
