Socialization like this should never stop. As a puppy it is crucial for them to learn the world. How can you expect a dog to not be reactive if they have never seen anything outside of the home? And once they are socialized it needs to continue. Socialization is a skill. As with any skill if you stop using it then the skill diminishes. Keep your dogs on point by socializing them to the world. Also it will bring them a lot of mental satisfaction and joy keeping their minds engaged and in the end tiring them out. Took in a "foster dog" several months ago for a rescue group I've volunteered with for a few years. Severely emaciated and abused. Long story short, she's acutally a Cane Corso. Fell in love with her and adopted her. Never knew about the Corso breed previously. Absolutely adore and love her! My first foster fail, no regrets!

I take my 2 Labs and Corso to town every day to people watch. It's amazing how they watch people differently. I definately trust their instincts about people over mine. Love your dogs.

My landlord has a Cane Corso and he's a really sweet boy! He snuggles and plays with his kids like a giant baby lol so darling 💗 they got lucky with him! I think they are subscribers actually. Your name came up when he first got him and we were talking about what a great dog he is.

I ALWAYS take the dogs opinion on people. They sense things we as people are not picking up on. Trust your dog. You can be the leader but always trust your dog.

Pointers are literally bird dogs. Nobody in their right mind would have one and not expect it to go against what it’s bred for.

You were wanting information about the deadly bacteria in water. I live in Texas and it is known as Naegleria fowleri. It usually lives in warm, fresh bodies of water and soil. The CDC has a page on it and shows where it is located in the states. We have it also in some of our lakes down here. The state close to you is Minnesota. It is actually an amoeba and it is called the “brain-eating” amoeba. From what I have heard, it can kill within hours.

Love your walk and talks! I feel like the more I watch you guys the more my husband and I can relate 😂 We're cold brew now too due to headaches from hot coffee. As far Kristi Noem I have no words especially since GSP is one of my breed of choice. Just like with your guys they have to have routine and structure in their everyday life. You also have to be able to handle the prey drive that breed has. They're athletes and they have to run and get that energy out if your not doing drills or hunting with them. All I can say is some ppl disgust me. Love you guys ❤
Too funny as I have never heard anyone tell me that hot coffee gives them a headache as well. I ended up researching why a long time ago and I can't remember the actual compound name in the beans but the ways they are brewed the hot has a specific compound in it that can create headaches that the cold brew does not. I can't exactly remember but it is either the hot changes the structure of it or the cold brew being brewed so long gets rid of it.

The problem where I am from is walking a dog of that size in public with draw attention of the law. And most of the places is not animal friendly. But their are events that I can carry the dog when I have it . thanks

This comment isn't going to be popular.. Most people shouldn't be allowed to own working breeds. Even less people should be allowed to own bait/fighting breeds like Bull Terriers/Staffies.
It breaks my heart to see all the GSDs, Huskies, Mastiffs and recently Mals in the shelters. They're being put down because people are selfish and vain. People get them because they "look cool" or they see highly trained dogs on social media. They can't grasp all the time/effort that went into creating and maintaining that relationship.
Frankly, most people aren't capable, responsible or motivated enough to put in what it takes. Working breeds HAVE to work/exercise every day, not just a walk around the block or weekly trips to the dog park.
Do that with a Pomeranian, it's not a huge deal, it's still sad for the dog but when you do it with a large breed dog that was literally created to do work, it's cruel/inhumane and you're asking for behavioral/psychovisual problems. Even worse when you treat a dog that was selectively bred for violence, you're playing Russian Roulette with your children, other people's children or dogs or the lives of anyone around when your dog snaps..
"Pitbulls" account for around 6% of the dogs in the country, yet they're involved in almost 70% of all fatal dog attacks. The number is equally disproportionate with child disfigurement. They killmore people than all other dog breeds combined, by a huge margin, it's not even close. Now you have this weird pro-pitbull propaganda campaign, which is insane and dangerous. Not to mention all the lying people do, claiming their dog is something else to get around breed restrictions and the deserved stigma. People claiming their Staffy is a Cane Corso, when it's clearly not, or any other breed. So later when that dog snaps, innocent breeds are blamed.
I mean, just look at your local shelter's available dogs and you'll see dozens of misidentified pitbulls, intentionally called labs or boxers or something else. It's actually sick.
It shouldn't be the easiest thing in the world for a 90lb 18 year old or grandma to just walk into any shelter and adopt a Rottweiler, a "Pitbull", GSD, Malinois, Dogo Argentino, Cane Corso, Husky or any other dog capable of killing people.
They really need to crack down on breeders too, the shelters are so full out here it's a nightmare. It's gut wrenching. They're putting down healthy dogs and PUPPIES to make room right now. Last year they euthanized almost a million HEALTHY DOGS in US Animal Shelters. A huge majority of those dogs were working breed dogs.
And it's not even like they're the most popular, aside from GSDs. The most popular dogs in the US are Labs, Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds and Chihuahuas.
