Good question its hard to name one there is just too much luck in poker. If you can make money from your name that covers your entrance fees and lifestyle enabling you to play all day for free you made it. Ivy, Daniel and Scotty are the coolest but I think Doyle had the most panache. So I’d say Texas Dolly was the greatest.

AK v JJ if the pros were so much better why they take the flip time and time again. Follow the players that win tournaments and see the luck they get. They won’t get that next tournament that’s the evening out long term factor. You won’t find a main event winner that does get a number of come from behind hands.
I am the player that called Hal Lubarsky in that hand. It blind vs blind. It was folded to me, I raised from the sb with AJ and Hal flat called. Flop came J44. Top pair top kicker I lead out with a bet, then Hal goes all in. By that point with the size of the pot, and the little amount to call it was a no brainer to have a chance to eliminate a strong player. I was the largest stack on the table, and Hal had been the short stack. Classic spot to bully. You can see I instantly congratulated Hal. We kept in touch after the tournament. He truly represents the best in poker.
The game has changed A LOT in terms of texture of players. Today's game seems to have a cutter personality in terms of players. Was more originality in these characters.
43:14 that's when you know Scotty is bluffing....a 5 of hearts on the river for a straight flush?? That would mean he HAS to have the 6 of hearts in his hand for any straight flush combo with that board. Yet the 6 of hearts fell on the river.
Kinda funny that norman play this goofy role all the time making lame jokes about people a bit over the top at times but then someone gets little out of line and he judges that like he is not a comic relief
Kid poker shouldn't have raised when he had a straight, with 3 spades on the board. He should've just called 🙄 & then he would've saw what the guy was holding.
Scotty wrong about this particular tournament baby. Skill is nice & certainly essential but Luck is FAR MORE IMPORTANT in winning the main event baby. If not it'd be some big named pro winning it every year baby!!!
