Thank you for the video. I used my tripod at the beach and now this part barely rotates. I am thinking of opening it and clean the sand and salty water from the sea. Do you have experience with another ball heads? Do you think the mechanism is similar?

I have open two of the different ball heads. They are very similar. You can give it a try.
