Congrats for really awesome speedrun :D I have an arkanoid table arcade in my room since i'm a kid and can confirm that your time is really impressive !! Gj
It is possible to speedrun on emulator, although I don't think it's different enough to warrant a separate category. My experience with emulator using a mouse is mixed, since the small delay experienced on emulator does make it harder, and the emulator I was using would lose focus with the mouse if the "cursor" moved outside the emulator window. Of course, you don't need to worry about the deterioration of a 35-year old Vaus controller.
I'm stuck in stage 27. Even if I break all the blocks, I cannot go to the next stage and the game continues. Do you know why that happens? Has that ever happened to you? Is there something special I have to go in order to advance to the next stage?
I use the special controller that was packaged with the game back in the day. It allows much faster and precise movement than the NES controller. There is no way that I'm aware of to speed up the paddle with the NES controller.
Here you go! A legit speed run with all the powers dropping. For me this is the world record - the way everybody plays. Well done Dude!
I honestly never thought this was possible. Man, amazing job.
He stopped at :00.00!!! It's impossible!!!

Thanks! I'm jealous of your arcade setup, I'd love to have one myself.
