    Notes (for those who care):
This series is not intended as 'high entertainment' or as a 'bullet-proof build guide'. Just my personal build including all mistakes and mishaps.
I hope that people will join the build and especially share their experiences here with their current or past build and the individual steps of the WPL C-34KM. If you notice any mistakes, wrong screws or have any tips please share in the comment section! - With the minimal instructions provided by WPL, it is my hope that somebody, including me, will benefit from these videos and the comments from you!
I might be forcing the parts too hard or/and in the wrong order. Please be more careful with your own kit or the plastic parts might break during assembly.
If you want to paint the body - the easiest way is to paint the parts (exterior as well as interior) individually before the assembly. Also: Small amounts of glue could secure some of the smaller parts on the body better. I left mine un-glued, so I always can go back and easily disassemble the body again (if I want to paint it).
The raw video form with minimal editing/music and no time lapse is very intentional. Let's just build, without hurrying along and with enough time for you to see what is going on, make up your own mind about the kit, maybe join in on the build ... or just enjoy some pure RC Car building with no endless talking (trust me, I have been known for that). Remember, you can always pause/rewind the video to inspect the parts used more closely. Also, if it get's too quiet, please feel free to put on your own favorite music while watching.
I have divided the series into the 12 steps according to the official manual, so it will be easy for you to find the exact steps you are interested in. If there is any interest, I will also include the necessary steps not included in the manual (wheel weights, tires, electronics).
Let me know in the comment section what you think of this build video format. First time I've tried it. I just needed to try it our. For previous build video series with loads of music, editing and time lapse - check out the video-lists and playlists in my channel. For endless RC waffling, check out my secondary channel.
Check out my channel for many, many more videos with other WPL RC Car Trucks!

Great work my good friend! Now we are getting into the serious stuff! I love the metalwork, very nicely portrayed in this video. Silence is golden! Thumbs up bro! :)

Thanks a lot for watching, Mark. Yeah, real serious stuff. Working on the metal axles now. Can’t get them to work properly. Will have to use a big file 😅 It’s all good. Yeah, silence can be good. Thinking about trying it out with a Tamiya build too. But maybe this format is just too detailed, long and boring for UA-cam. But I’m having fun trying it out. Quite easy to edit so that’s cool, now that we have the boy at home 24-7 😅☺️

Thank you bro! Sorry for the late reply. A lot of good comments ended up in spam lately. Not sure why. But I appreciate the support!

I read in your comment to Mark that you have your son at home 24/7. Is this because his school has closed because of the Corona Virus. How is this affecting your country. I hear news about about Italy and Spain and now France, but not about other European countries. Do you have to work from home now. Is that something you can actually do ? Our Government has advised the UK's population to "self isolate" as much as possible from this weekend, work from home if possible, and avoid public places such as transport (buses, trains etc), pubs, clubs, shopping centers, theatres etc. Angie and I are in the high risk category because of our age and also our existing illnesses, so we have been advised to "self isolate" for at least 3 months. This means we have to stay at home and can only go to the shops for food, when necessary. Our daughter Helen said she will do our shopping when she can. We don't know when we can see our grandchildren again and Angie is very upset with the whole situation. We are both very worried of course because if we get the virus it could kill us, and despite of all the inconveniences it is producing, we are doing as the Government and Medical surgeons advise. We are lucky to live next to woodland so we can still walk our dogs and get some exercise. It's easy to keep our distance from other people in there and still be able to be sociable and say "hello". I can also find secluded places in the woodland to run and film my RC's. This is changing the world as we know it, and it will affect everybody in some way eventually. Seeing all of the deserted cities and towns around Europe on television is like watching a Sci-Fi movie, and it's frightening to know it's actually reality. I hope you and your family are well Mikael. Stay safe my good friend and keep in touch 😊😷👍👍

Uhh, yes, Derek! Be safe! I too think you’re in the danger zone with the breathing problems etc. You dont want a pneumonia on top. But just take precautions and enjoy life with your wife and RC’s. Your Grand children will still be there for you after a couple of months. Better safe than sorry. We have to take some extra precautions too, with the baby girl and everything. And I am insisting to protect the Grand parents by keeping my son away from them. It’s hard for them, but my parents are around 80, my mother very weak, so in real risk.
Yeah, everything except for certain areas of the private sector is shut down now. Day cares and schools too, so the boy is at home. We work from home too, taking turns. Crazy.
It’s great that you have the woods just outside. I feel blessed too right now, for not living in the City in the small apartment anymore.
The government is trying to keep the pace of the virus down so hospitals can keep up. It’s no longer a matter of stopping it. It can’t be done. But if we can slow the rate down, so the 10% that will catch it no matter what, will do it more slowly, so hospitals can keep up with the rate.
Stay safe my good friend. It is good to hear that you know you are at risk, with the health issues, then you can do something about it. Enjoy life with the wife, RC’s and nature. I will try to do the same here ☺️

Our Queen just spoke to the Nation on national television ... then we know it’s serious. She had one message: Stay at home and be brave. Hope you will do that, Derek.
