in my opinion, valir has always been a pretty good pick even if you build him with 2 or 3 defense items. he still hurts.

@@joaodossantos7925 yeah i really enjoy playing him as roam. building antiqur cuirass and athenas shield are very good for valir. to counter lance you just gotta see when he uses his second skill then you can stun him using your enhanced first skill as he will be slowed down even further with ice queen wand.

That part is crucial when the enemy has a Blink skill that will escape both ways in particular said location, which why that part can be considered as "Early Prediction Move".
The Enemy Kagura will only go on the one-way escape route after that skill placement to her: The Beetle Jungle part - that she even can't escape because she used her Blink skill to Franco (That it wasted that potential to out run him and escape.)

All you need with valir is that Ice wand thingy and glowing wand. The rest can be defensive but can build necklace of dur for more dmg and anti heal. He is solid for me.

I think it’s unpopular but I actually played valir on exp, it’s pretty hard for fighters to do anything against him early game since getting close in a 1v1 at start is basically a death sentence except for a few more mobile exp lane

Valir isnt lacking, the buffed glowing wand made him having decent chip damage now. His draft pre-exquisite for easy game is when enemy's core is melee range and their team composition is not all out offensive hero, but hero that also utilize def
Btw, if you use third talent. The 3% damage and mana regen will proc twice because valir pasive is last about 4 secs. So you have good damage and doesnt rely on mana boots

Tip: Use Valir's first skill to check bush so you won't have to face check..If u use the skill and didn't lose a charge..boom.
For ppl confused bout Badand ult not triggering crit, turn off the merge dmg option and you'll see the crit numbers pop.

People think that badang's ult doesn't proc crit is because the default settings is having merge text turned on. If merge text is off, you can see the individual damage that badang's ult inflict, and yes it can crit

The Franco was so good this became more of a tank feature than a mage one.
finally some appreciation for valir 😭❤️ this is my main hero for years and its the hero that made me go mythical glory lots of times!
hes good at early game but such a disadvantage in the late game. he doesnt have that much of a damage (especially when the enemies have magic defense). he’s a good support hero tho. hes also an all rounder, he can escape with his first skill (it has stun), second skill (to push enemies away), and third skill to be immune at ccs! its so amazing and such a very underrated hero.
In my opinion, early game is more precious and important than late game. I know, you decide the game in late game, but if the early game was driven against you, the late game will be near impossible to win.
A unique title, I see that you have potential.

Valir got a buff now when hitting enemies directly with fireball prevents loosing stacks, you can spam his skill now if you got the precision

Beto, the reason why Crit is bad on Badang isn't because that it doesn't work, it's damage scaling is just horrible for it to be good. It's like trying to use Berserker's Fury with Kimmy in the current meta. That's why people use Demon Hunter since the damage is always consistent and it already deals an absurd damage because it's damage scales with the enemy's hp
In Badang's case, you should've built both 4-item crit+malefic build and 4-item pen build (one of the 4 is DHS or BoD) and see their burst diff. I've tried both and the pen build is more consistent and dealt more dmg. Of course, players will choose the more consistent one and even activates on skill1.
Pen is just meta nowadays.
Crit build sucks against blade armor, and crit items take more slots and time to shine, so you won't have much defense items.
It's funny how a lot of people don't know Badang can crit with his ult. In fact, Claude can as well. But because of how their damage comes from 5 billion basic attacks instead of high damage basic attacks, it was way faster to kill people with dhs + gs instead of crits. Also at 11:13 , anybody who actually uses Argus received a massive wave of satisfaction upong seeing the guy sacrifice hp to hit the base with his passive.
