I am a new subscriber. Cannot believe this is your 1st tutorial on youtube. You are a natural teacher! Very good job. Thank you for sharing your ideas.
This is a very good video, first one or not! I just spent a couple of hours trying to make crepe paper rosettes. I always have pretty much the same result. I am pleating, holding it tight, turning slowly, and I always think oh this one's going to be good!! I get all excited, bring out my stapler, and about now is when the whole thing falls apart. Boo hoo! Discouragement. But, you know, I can sew, and I think the hand stitching looks easier for me. (I have arthritic hands) Tomorrow I am going to give it a try! Thanks for this clear and concise video! I know it's a year ago, but I just saw it and it has inspired me! I hope over the year you have continued to make more videos! I GAVE YOU A THUMBS UP (sorry about the caps; a wayward finger did it.) Anyway thumbs up, and I subbed. Hope to see more of your videos!
You're a natural! I wouldn't have know this was your first video if you hadn't mentioned it. The tutorial is simple & to the point, which comes in handy bc I'm learning. I have to get some needle & thread so I can see how mine turn out. Yours are pretty...especially the mini ones! Tfs!!
Love these fluffy rosettes! I have to give these a try! I’ve only made crepe paper rosettes.. I’m getting better at it... I can’t wait to try the hand stitching technique, I’ve also seen it done with Tuille too... so I think I will break out the needle and thread and try both...TFS! Love the look!..
Congratulations on your first video! You did a great job! I love the rosettes you made, and i appreciate your tutorial. Keep up the good work. Donna (new subbie)
Well done! Well presented for your first video. I like this technique. Would have appreciated the approximate length of paper used for the larger ones. But I appreciate all the work that went into posting and sharing. Thumbs up Dave m Calif
New Subbie !! I love these and will make some on my channel and give you kudos :) TFS BTW You did a great job on the video and here is to thousands more :) You can put the rosettes you made in the center of the crepe paper ones and they would look fabulous :)
Hi! I have worked with strips of fabric and used the exact same technique and they came out really cute! My only advice is to use a thinner fabric, like a cotton so that it’ll bunch and gather easily when you pull the thread. Good luck! And TFW! ❤️
You did an excellent job in explaining as well as demonstrating your technique. Thanks for sharing!
