Another great video! I've been looking at alternate coils for the X-Terra Pro and was considering the V8X. This seems to be a solid contender. I mainly metal detect on the beaches in the Bay of Banderas. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this coil.
When I bought the Elite I got the Expedition pack so it came with the V12x and the V8 x. I mainly use the V8x. You loose some depth and have to go slower, but it get in between the trash and I’ve been finding tons of stuff with it.
@@mwcooke8441 Thank you for the feedback. That's helpful. I'd like to get a smaller coil so I can swing for longer and it's more transportable. I live remotely in the jungle and have to hike everywhere, so weight is always a consideration. happy hunting!
you had the plastic nut to tight. i. got the 6" coil with my nox 900. some one gave up. he sold it to me for $750. both coils. 11". &. 6". have a good day.

just got the equinox 15" coil off ebay. for $160. lower the recovery speed. it will go deeper.

Does Minelab offer the 6" coil in a "Pro Pack" with a new netecto purchase that you ar aware of?
Yes they do. In fact I t’s available on Amazon. I’ve found it with the 600 and the 800. I imagine that it’s available with the newer 700 and 900 too.
