Had Lohse as a companion and had her get the final hit on the Demon, listening to this after she realized she was finally free was such an amazing moment. Love this game
I was disappointed. I love Lohse, but her personal drama only has an impact, only has weight in the game in the few scripted moments in which the plot moves forward. In my 266 hour playthrough Lohse was fine and normal 99% of the time. When she was "free" of the demon what I felt was: "hmm ok... so I guess from now on you're going to be just like... you have been all the time so far". I knew I had a companion possessed by demons, but I never "felt" it, because she's still the same before and after, and her "change" is only conveyed through dialogue. This is an example where narrative and gameplay go through different paths, insted of reinforcing one another.
@@duhmzdaih I closed every side quest in the game, explored all the secret places, but my playthrough was only 150 hours long. What do you people spend 200+ hours on in this game anyway?!
@@flateron2932 I dunno about other people, but in my case maybe it's because I read everything there is to read, I check all dialogue options and take my time just seeing the world and all the details.

Lohse giving her special performance of this song was the true ending for me, the "real" reward for finishing the game (the official ending that came a little bit later was nice aswell, of course).

Please try the game! It's my favourite of all time and I haven't even been able to fully enjoy it due to the specs of my laptop not quite being enough. I'm planning on upgrading to a powerful desktop once I've saved enough and the main reason is so I can play divinity.

Playing this song as bard in BG3 now
This game deserved so much more attention. It's so good.
Best companion questline I've ever done

@@duhmzdaih Lohse walked so Dark Urge could run.
Though, given Mizora and Lohse share VA, it's criminal Mizora never sings.

How can you not fall in love with Lohse after this?
Are you stupid? Listen to the lyrics, this is the verse of the demon that's in her head. But the song is brilliant
