I need to utilize them more, that's for sure! And I have stopped beating myself up for not reading consistently each months, because that's okay! Even if I read one book, it's one more than before
Haha thank you! I used to edit stuff like that out of my earlier videos because I was afraid of offending people/not seeming put together, but obviously I stopped caring along the way, haha!
I'm dying for The Diviners because it sounds like a book that is RIGHT up my alley. 1920s amazing historical setting, superpowers, morally grey characters, and the fact that everyone loves the series! I'm so sorry that this wasn't the case for you, exactly! I think the weird writing will be hard to overcome. I want to test the waters with this author, however, because her other works also sound very intriguing. ACOMAF is also my favorite of the series. I have some troubles with the other two books, but this one remains super high up in my consideration. You read a bunch of really cool books this month! I hope March was better for your enjoyment, though!
I really wanted to love The Diviners, but I just didn't. I don't know if it was due to the hype or what, but it wasn't my favorite. And that's okay! It happens sometimes. I hope you love it though!! It seems like a lot of people feel this way. ACOMAF is in a league of its own compared to the others, haha. And unfortunately I only read one mediocre book in March, but that's okay 😂
OMG THE CAT SNEEZES!!! Hahaha! I've heard all the mixed things about Name of the Wind... and I'm leaning toward just thinking it doesn't sound like my cup of tea.
I've been wondering about the diviners books because I've seen a lot of good things about it lately and have considered picking it up, but it's good to hear that you didn't find it all that fantastic!
I have an unpopular opinion about the diviners as well but I absolutely hated it and actually DNFed it. Libba Bray is just not the author for me I DNFed her other series too
I read the first one in her Gemma Doyle trilogy but didn't like it much and DNF'd the series as a whole. I'll be continuing with The Diviners because I didn't hate it, but I definitely don't understand the hype. I'm glad I'm not alone in this!
Audiobooks definitely help me read more. Two books is still great! 😊

"Oh F what month is it!" LOVE IT! Cheryl I just love your delivery.

Yea when I manage to get one of those truly great mess up moments they become post credits scenes on my vids.
That's such a fun idea!

I can definitely tell it's not a book for everyone. I'm just hoping I still like it by the end haha
