@@DoughertyDozen I raised half of that size by myself & mine were 8,7,3,2,newborn & was a girl the rest were boys. You get used to it & it's not that bad.
It's not a big deal but my ocd gets to me and seeing sauce in the cheese or vice versa would grate on my nerves. All I'm trying to say is seeing her patience in that situation was a good reminder for me to not sweat the small stuff.

In Sweden we have a pizza called Hawaii on it you have tomato sauce Smoked ham Fresh or canned pineapple And grated cheese It is a huge favorite that you can order at all pizzerias and no one thinks it is strange. So keep doing you💖

You can use the tongs or a spoon to grab the cheese or topping, then dump it in your hand to spread it by hand. That way the bowl remains clean but you still can control portion with your hands (and the kids can still use their hands while you can keep the bowls clean.)
