The Empress is the most Beautiful car ever designed and produced. Hooper is my favourite coachbuilder. It is not a snobby thing to own a Rolls-Royce or a Bentley.One buys the car for its quietness, ride it's comfort the interior seats carpets and the engineering. This is one of my dream cars along with a 1934/35 Barker bodied 20/25. Also a phantom or 2. Oh my goodness I'm a Rolls-Royce Bentley Daimler Jaguar junkie I'm addicted to quality cars. I do have a Bentley and a Jaguar my daily drive is a 3ltr Lexus.😊
Sadly I no longer have the car, but it is for sale I believe at the moment. I inherited the Silver Dawn along with an S1 Continental Flying Spur and a 1939 Drophead o/d Vanden Plas Derby (also currently for sale). They were just not realistic for me to keep. My own luxury for high days and holidays is a Series III Jaguar Sovereign. Like you, I would love to own a 20/25 - ideally one for env very few on a short chassis - maybe a 2-door Doctor's Coupe.... Sigh, one can dream.

What a gorgeous old Roller! I can imagine that one could fit quite a few lutes into that huge boot and rear seat, maybe even a virginals or two! ;-))
