  • Since first being approved in 2008, the Innova Pig has continued its meteoric rise in popularity, soaring into more disc golfer’s bags, year after year, both on and off the Pro Tour.
You’ll find both top pros and hard-throwing casual players praise the [4|1|0|3] Pig for its exceptional short-distance accuracy. Its slow [4] speed, combined with a very low [1] glide creates a disc that flies like dead weight. The Pig’s reputation for reliability is enhanced with its stubborn [0] turn and predictable [3] fade, letting golfers rip confidently on the Pig with power. This slow-speed Mid-Range just loves to eat up hard-thrown forehand flicks, while ignoring even the nastiest headwinds. It’s as if the Pig was made intentionally to NOT fly.
Why would you want a disc that doesn’t want to fly? Well, the Pig’s unique wing produces a disc that is anything but touchy, making the low-glide Pig way less inclined to aimlessly sail away on an unintended trajectory. This disc needs to be hit with power to get moving down the fairway, helping you to know exactly how far the Pig is going to go, and more importantly, where it’s going to stop.
Speaking of stopping, the Pig is typically found in one of our grippier Pro plastics, only enhancing its noticable lack of excess ground play. Our Pro Pigs are inclined to grab and stick where they land, helping to limit accidental skips or slides off the green.
Were you worried that discovering an upshot disc you could throw hard without losing control would only happen “when pigs fly”? Look to the skies at your local park. That day has come.
The Innova Pig. “Now flying” at a course near you.
