Skirball Stages returns for a second season with four episodes featuring incredible 2021 Sunset Concerts performances. Groove to The Delirians’ vintage ska beat! In this episode, lead singer and bandleader Angel Salgado shares how The Delirians blend the revolutionary spirit of 1960s-era ska and reggae with influences from their Latin American heritage.
Layering in elements of salsa, jazz, and roots music, this East LA band delights with rich vocal harmonies, warm brass tones, and feel-good rhythms to create a sound that Billboard describes as both “infectious” and “solidly Californian.”
