Oh man, I love Skids Valentino. His close family sucks, but he's still a really sweet kid. I love Pat's brother, his cousin and his cousin's girlfriend too, this game is full of wholesome characters.
I get the feeling that the family IS really just planning a birthday party, no assassination whatsoever. It just so happens that Pat asked Alligator 47 to investigate the preparations...
I don't want to spoil anything, but I do want to mention that it would be in your interest to get every family badge if you want to know the full truth of the situation Pat finds himself in. You may need to do more than one run through the game to get them all, but since you retain any family badges you've already gotten through successive runs you can skip talking to (and playing the games of) family members whose badges you've already gotten to focus on finding family members you've missed. You will need to find at least 32 of the puzzle pieces scattered around the city to accomplish this, so don't forget to search everywhere and talk to everyone to find them (you retain these as well through successive runs).
The park mysteriously still having sodas that are no longer on the market is weirdly relatable. The one by where we live had a vending machine that continued dispensing Slice long after you couldn't get it anywhere else anymore. There must have been some kind of long-term contract.
*Sweet 'n' Tart* Half Sprite, 1/3 lemonade, and then the rest a fruit flavored drink of your choice. _Sierra Mist or 7-Up work as a substitute in a pinch._
Hearing Carrie get excited about genealogy was the highlight of my day so far. Also, this isn't this company's first game, it looks like they've also made a few others.
Pillowfight has worked on games before, but Smallbu were the people actually designing, writing, animating, etc, for the most part. I don't think Smallbu's made any games before but I'll be excited as heck if they make more
Is it just me or my detective senses are tingling? The whole family might be throwing a birthday party for Pat. One of the most oldest and common narrative themes in the book. This time with a cute alligator twist, how cunning.
Your voices are absolutely fantastic omg I love the bit with Skids. I was also imagining going "wheeeeere could he possibly be?" so y'all actually saying it just kills me XD it's so cute. Also I just adore how many minigames are just kids going "hey here's someone with long grabbin' arms!
To encourage the almighty and indiscernible UA-cam algorithm to think this video is good, here’s a comment with a fun fact: Alligators are taxonomically placed in the order Crocodilia
So the person whom made this is Lindsey butura and her husband Alex butura and they have made batman and putrman, daffodil, and a few other shorts and this. Lindsey currently has a patron or go fund me in the way of her making an animated series she plans to have out at some point
I can *hear* this title, Dan. You may or may not also be infusing my everyday language with your many phrases....I definitely say "Y'all" a lot more now.
There actually is a brand of soda by the Coca-Cola company called MezzoMix which is a mix of coke and orange soda. There also is a version of it with some lemonade added to it. I personally don't like coke but I do like that drink. Those that and other Spezi/cola-mix Drinks are hard to find outside of German speaking countries
It's not too long of a game so it's definitely worth giving it a play through yourself, particularly if you want to experience the ending (and find out the full truth of Pat's situation) yourself ahead of this play through.
I don’t think the animation team (Small Butera on UA-cam) has done a game previously, but they teamed up with the studio Pillow Fight, who have done a few well-received adventure games before. In particular, I’ve heard good (albeit startling) things about their visual novel ‘We Know The Devil.’
Wait, this is from the same people as We Know The Devil? That...is a very different game. Like, this and that both gave me very strong feelings, but they are in no way the same kind of feelings.
Agreed. The Italian 'gli' sound isn't something many Americans are very familiar with. I'm glad he got the ending 'ci' right. Also here's an opera with a gator: operachic.typepad.com/opera_chic/2011/01/see-ya-later-alligator-torinos-parsifal.html
"or literally transfer them off of your phone in any way" Well that SOUNDS easy but if you owned one of the first (I think it was around) five iPhones it was actually a pretty big hassel to do, as you needed the iTunes app to do it, which is a piece of *** and doesn't want to work at all.
So, I’m definitely overthinking this, but that whole conversation with Maria about her “baby” has me wondering, how does the whole reproduction thing work in Alligator NYC, they're talking about children like they're human babies, but they're reptiles, so shouldn't they lay eggs?
About the street art. It is visible from the street, in public. So I feel like making street art is inheritly giving something to the outside world. And the internet is also sort of public so I asume posting it is fine. If you make a collage of interesting stuff you see on the street, or streetart you thought was neat that seems fine. Just give credit if there was a tag and you're fine right? Only if you act as though you made it or make money of posting or reselling it in some way does it feel unfair.
Moving around takes time. I would suggest doing everything you can in a area before moving around. Also, im of the believe that if someone paid for something, then its theirs, then taking a photo or recording a video of that would be technically ok.
On the graffiti photography: yeah if you're presenting it as something that's yours or the picture is just of the street art then that's weird. I think using it as a backdrop of something or you're just blogging it as something you've seen it's all fair.
0seele Why? There’s nothing weird about pictures of art in museums or sculptures. Besides, the sharing of visual experiences as cultivated identity is inherently transformative.
There have been actual court cases on copyright regarding things like graffity in the background of an ad. It can definitely be copyright violation, depending on circumstances.
"I hate sand." "Don't you dare" "What? It's rough and it gets everywhere!"
Carrie is a woman of culture, I see
I facepalmed instantly. It was so good, that I don't blame her for it. XD
Oh, jeeze! Another episode!
This game is super cute!
Oh man, I love Skids Valentino. His close family sucks, but he's still a really sweet kid. I love Pat's brother, his cousin and his cousin's girlfriend too, this game is full of wholesome characters.

I saw a streamer get every badge on his first run through the game, so it is possible.
I love how when the Cold Cola was added just looked like ice cubes were coming out of the machine.
The park mysteriously still having sodas that are no longer on the market is weirdly relatable. The one by where we live had a vending machine that continued dispensing Slice long after you couldn't get it anywhere else anymore. There must have been some kind of long-term contract.
Love Lizzie and Jolene, love the casual rep of two ladies being a thing
assuming you're talking about Joanie (because there isn't a Jolene iirc) they are actually nonbinary
*Sweet 'n' Tart*
Half Sprite, 1/3 lemonade, and then the rest a fruit flavored drink of your choice.
_Sierra Mist or 7-Up work as a substitute in a pinch._
that's pretty close to my go to drink, but I usually just do about 60% Pink Lemonade and 40% Sprite
Hearing Carrie get excited about genealogy was the highlight of my day so far.

Is it just me or my detective senses are tingling? The whole family might be throwing a birthday party for Pat. One of the most oldest and common narrative themes in the book. This time with a cute alligator twist, how cunning.
This episode is normal length but it ended way too soon! Jeeze this is charming!
Dan, we need to have a serious discussion. You not belting out "Brolene" has shown me your true colors. I don't know that I can trust you.
Your voices are absolutely fantastic omg
I love the bit with Skids. I was also imagining going "wheeeeere could he possibly be?" so y'all actually saying it just kills me XD it's so cute.

@Aspen_Hansen I'm thinking the YACA stands for "Young Alligators' Crocodilian Association"
Best bit is after watching this and the first i have now noticed that dan says ah geez natruely in nearly every game lol
Strongly stanning adorable femme/butch alligator teens
Amen

You know...
Explain a little bit more?

So.... Alligators are Crocodiles?
This group also includes Gharials and Caimens
I love every bit of this game. From the text and dialogue to the music and the cutesy characters.
So the person whom made this is Lindsey butura and her husband Alex butura and they have made batman and putrman, daffodil, and a few other shorts and this. Lindsey currently has a patron or go fund me in the way of her making an animated series she plans to have out at some point
I love how all the sodas has different animations and substance.
Also love the animation in this game
This is such an awesome game. I hope this studio makes more!
I hope you two play until the end, I'm having a lot of fun watching it :)
In this house we live for Joanie's candid pics.
I can *hear* this title, Dan. You may or may not also be infusing my everyday language with your many phrases....I definitely say "Y'all" a lot more now.
My cousin noticed me picking up playframe-isms, too! I've started saying rad a lot more since watching.
So you became more southern?
I think I've picked up the way Dan says 'hoo-ray'
@@octochan which reminds me of ceave gaming every time.

Carrie: "THICC"
Me: "amazing"
I feel like if they had a face cam, we'd see Dan just recoiling further and further back from the drink combination.

Bird fact: all birds are swole birds. Their pectoral muscles are 17-25% of their body mass. That would be a 160 lb human with 27-40 lbs of pecs.
They're bad about leg day, though. Granted, their wings are basically air legs...
this game is so adorable. When combined with the two of you, who are adorable relationship goals, it's even more adorable. XD
I really want to watch this episode to the end, but I also want to play for myself... this is difficult
It's not too long of a game so it's definitely worth giving it a play through yourself, particularly if you want to experience the ending (and find out the full truth of Pat's situation) yourself ahead of this play through.
This game is so dang cute and fun. It's the perfect Sunday content.

In particular, I’ve heard good (albeit startling) things about their visual novel ‘We Know The Devil.’
We Know The Devil is definitely much less on the wholesome side. It's a visual novel with somewhat dark and twisted themes.
NotaWalrus
That’s what I heard. I haven’t checked it out in detail, though.
Wait, this is from the same people as We Know The Devil? That...is a very different game. Like, this and that both gave me very strong feelings, but they are in no way the same kind of feelings.
Serasent
I think Small Bu was responsible for the actual tone and content, whereas Pillow Fight (WKTD) produced it.
This is my favorite game you guys have done since that golf game! I love this game!
When you're Italian and you hear dan pronounce pagliacci
Like we Italians have a leg to stand on after what we did to Eurydice.
Agreed. The Italian 'gli' sound isn't something many Americans are very familiar with. I'm glad he got the ending 'ci' right. Also here's an opera with a gator: operachic.typepad.com/opera_chic/2011/01/see-ya-later-alligator-torinos-parsifal.html
but doctor...
I love this channel and am glad I looked up the hollow knight play through and stayed for the okami because now I’m really hooked
Carrie: Take care, poler bear
Me: Aww Jeeze 😊
This game is absolutely lovely and you two should definitely finish at least one ending (there's 3, good, bad, and best) :)
YACA, the Young Alligator's Club of ... Alligators.
Oh, I thought it was based off of YMCA (Young men’s Christian association), so it would be Young Alligator’s Christian Association.
@@Zoobydeeby it probably is that, I was just being silly

I've been looking forward to this episode!
"I'd sip it" Oh, jeeze...

Eggs aren't the larvel form of alligators, you know. They're alligator pregnancy.
Lol I made the same mistake with the family tree game. I'm so used to family trees being from top to bottom lol
Oh, jeeze!
40% root beer 60% orange pop.
Tastey tastey stuff
Oh jeeze! This is adorable
