Yes you can do a house cheap at garage sales, auctions and thrift stores. My studio apt. with a good size eat in kitchen was done for around $500. From auctions mostly. And a local thrift store that supports a group home for physical and mentally challenged residents. Nothing fancy or antique but all mint condition. My couch was $5. A Flexsteel, deer colored soft brushed velvet 3 cushion and in show room condition. The only thing new I own is my laptop. It was fun searching. You 2 are my favorite You Tubers to view shopping. Esp when you get to the jewelry. :-) .

I really do love to go to estate sales and yard sales and any garden sales. My dad still goes and he is 92 years old and in a couple weeks he will be 93. He and my mom went every Saturday. Unfortunately my mother passed away and now he goes by himself. Enjoy every moment with your mother and your family. Doing this is so much fun. Sending hugs prayers and kindness 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

I totally agree with you that it would be much less expensive with much more better quality to furnish a house nowadays my garage selling and having just beautiful furniture that was last year‘s in years if a person had say 2 to 3 months to shop for that furniture. What a wonderful wedding gift to a couple especially if they were of a mindset to have vintage furniture. My daughter and myself both had a wonderful bedroom sets that we loved with matching dressers and she had a vanity and so did I and we both love sitting at our vanities at bedtime and getting ready for bed and told me you’re here and that was when I still had long hair and we would brush it 50 times like my grandmother said you needed to… Too funny and I sure don’t have time for that now and the funny thing is after cancer and chemo I lost my hair for 10 1/2 years and then suddenly after 10 1/2 years, my hair started growing back and I’ve had hair for about six months and it’s now shoulder length and I easily have here that’s been cut 6 inches now.😊❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ what a wonderful gift from God especially when you don’t think you’re ever going to have here again…
But I digress from your garage sale… I see so many things when you’re shopping that I want to buy and I think how cool it would be if you announced in a Vance that you’re going to some of the big garage sales that were multi sales like this one is for the community and you were a headset you and your mother both and were able to send in our purchases to you and it would have to be very simple such as our phone number and name and an item # which they would give us once they understood what you were wanting to buy and take your card number and get off the phone with you and later in the day call you back to confirm purchase and each caulk it only last like two minutes three minutes at the most. It would be have it but it could be an interesting twist to your garage sale… maybe you’d have to limit it to each table and only so many calls during a two hour period it was a break for you guys definitely for lunch and then morning to a.m. and you probably got to have someone come along taking the information down like we did when I worked in auction instead of expertise just you and your mother writing everything down. This could work I think with some given thought and effort in advance especially was phone companies etc. Anyway I always shop with you and think I want that oh please buy that for me like today I’ve been looking online for the fringe jacket but I don’t want to pay 120 or $150 for it. I’m a cancer survivor and that’s not my budget plus I grew up in an era when you could buy one for $25-$40. I’d be willing to go a certain price but I realize you’re in this for a business but There must be a margin for kindness in sales as well as fairness. So think about that also. I’ve owned a business and ran a business and I know the difference between always looking to make a profit k

I see you had a camera man today that always helps especially when you have your hands full of goodies...I seen those fiestaware... I had some yellow and green I sold my plates to one person at a yard sale... a lady at a antique shop bought my serving pieces...I had the old ones for years... I just needed a change I love the blue and whites the ones that are made in England...
