You know…. It’s perfectly acceptable to review wigs sent by wig companies. It’s business and you’re a business. There will always be those folks who are negative. I hope to one day see you joyfully spending your time and effort free from feeling the need to concern yourself with those comments. You are my number 1 go-to for anything concerning wigs. Your knowledge and service is valued and you, of course should be compensated.
Thank you! I apologize if this video came across as defending myself.. trust me, I get so much hate and criticism, I may be nearly immune..lol. My future goal is to share and educate and have a team member delete, block or answer comments.. that way I can focus on the stuff that matters to all of you! XOOX
@@TAZSWIGCLOSET no need to apologize, my friend! Grow your business and your wealth! You earn it!
Thank you ANNETTE💕💕💕
These *are* really helpful, Taz! I can't tell you how many times I'll rewatch several reviews on the same wig I'm considering. They're far more helpful than the stock photos done by professional stylists. I've noticed plenty of variances. Blessings! Jackie in upstate NY
Thanks so much for the valuable feedback Jackie! Great tips for us too! XOXO
One thing that never varies among wigs is that they all look perfectly beautiful on you. I've learned that I can't trust cap sizes across brands. I have a large head, so I stay away from certain brands altogether, e.g. Ellen Wille. Estetica and Raquel Welch had a reputation for being big-head friendly, and that's true if one buys the right wig. For instance Raquel Welch's On Point fits me, but some of their more recent releases are too small. Estetica's Orchid "almost" fit me, but their Avalon is too small (owning these two wigs taught me that I look like hell in waves or curls). BelleTress' Peppermint wig is too small for me, but the hand-tied version fits. I could go on and on. As you might expect, I buy a lot of wigs, but I wear very few. Thank you for making the job of searching for the right wig a little easier.
Great comments thank you so much for sharing!! Sizing has become the leading variance among wigs.. I had a Tressallure and an Ellen Wille wig recently that were so huge that I could not make a secure adjustment.. totally unwearable for me and from brands that I can usually rely on to fit! Have a great day Sally! 💛💛💛
Taz-Great information! In my wig buying experience it seems to be a crap shoot when it comes to size, color and style regardless of brand. I always review the wig specs with the dimensions. Wig reviews are one of the best ways to improve the odds of meeting expectations vs variances. Your reviews have helped me immensely!
Thank you for sharing this Kathleen! XOXO
What a great subject. There have been so many times I have purchased a wig and then go back and purchase it again and find that there definitely are variances. It truly can be disappointing. Love that you showed examples! Thank you!!! xoxo
Thank you for these comments lovely LuLu!! Kisses to you and the pups! XOXO
WOW! I'm a curl lover too, so it's a bit disheartening to see such variances. Thanks so much for your time & great information!
Thank you for the comments Allison! XOXO
Yes!! I find these to be extremely helpful! I feel as though I have a personal assistant guiding me on this journey! Thank you so very much! 💕💕
Such great information and very helpful. Now, I won’t be as disappointed when I get a wig that doesn’t look exactly like the photos. It’s always better to appreciate differences rather than being disappointed (with wigs or people). Showing the differences side by side was terrific. Thank you. 🦊 💜
Well said Karen! I always said that if you can manage your expectations, you will have a better experience with online wig shopping! XOXO
Very true Taz and it needs to be talked about! Buyers need to really grasp that just because a wig reviewer shows a wig that looks one way doesn't mean that that style is going to look the same and certainly not the same way on them! They can't hold reviewers responsible when a wig doesn't work for them. I know it's so frustrating but it's the nature of the beast.
Well said Rachel! I get so much hate mail & comments where buyers insist I was trying to dupe them in some way, or they insist the manufacturers send me a "special unit" just for my review or that I modify and style the wig prior to a review.. all rubbish. As wig wearers we must not blame the reviewer or retailer, instead thank them for putting information out there to expand on the insufficient info given by the manufacturer. We must arm ourselves with the education and right expectations, then take responsibility for our decisions. I rarely expect a new wig to match the image I had in my mind..lol! Hugs! XOXO
What would we do without your videos, Taz?! OMG, they are so, so helpful! I truly and greatly appreciate your work here, thank you very much!
I appreciate your kindness and care so very much! Big hugs! XOXO
I am LOVING Belle Tress these days! It used to be ROP or Jon Renau, but in terms of fabulous new styles and amazing high fashion new colors, they are killing it!
Right? Their styling is so modern!
Wow. I always knew that they could vary but being able to see them side-by-side really was not only shocking but very helpful. Thank you, Taz. As always, you do a great job!!
Thanks for the comments! 💕💕💕
Taz, this is SOOOOO spot on.... as a fellow reviewer, I hear a lot of frustration from wig sisters on this topic and as a wig wearer I can totally relate. I actually filmed a car chat on this very thing about 6 weeks ago and somehow lost it before I posted it!! In it I talked about similar issues with clothing items such as jeans.... how many times have we purchased multiple pairs of jeans in the same style and size and had them fit differently? Especially if we get them in a different color.... this kind of thing happens everywhere, but because wigs are tied so heavily to emotion, it is hard to see it objectively (plus, the cost makes it hard to be forgiving or to provide grace). Thanks for providing this type of education! I should refilm that video as a compliment and reinforcement to this. I don't think we can hear stuff like this too much in the wig sister world. HUGS my sweet friend!
Hi there Denise! Thank you for stopping by and sharing these insights! I encourage you and other reviewers to share your voice on this issue as well. United, we CAN make a difference in many things! Love, hugs and blessings 💛💛💛
Absolutely! I love these types of comparisons. Thanks, Taz!
Love your Very Educational Videos! We Need them. You are a Amazing Teacher, and So Kind & Honest. And always Beautiful in everything you wear. I too Love Curls! Thank you Dear Friend, God Bless you and your family, Hugs by the Bunches, 😙🤗💖💐
Thank my sweet hearted friend!! Hope your Sunday is wonderful! XOXO
Thank you so much, Taz! This is a much needed video. I have 3 Dalgona as well. My BMT is like your first one with the lift, yet my BSSC is the same as your BMT. I see many members ask about this day after day. It happens regardless of the brand. Thank you for this much needed video! Perhaps one day the manufacturers will figure out how to make the styles, color, and curl patterns consistent across the board. xoxo
That will be a great day indeed!! Thank you Mar! XOXO
This is great info for new wig wearers. I usually start with Taz, then spend a week or two checking out the others closer to my age, weight and skin tone then try not to impulse buy. In the beginning of my journey I was like a kid in a candy store but quickly found out what colors and styles didn't work for me.I remember buying 'Stevie' by ROP , a very long straight wig wanting to relive my 1970 hippy years and instead ended up with an expensive fright wig and some platinum tones aged me 20 years but for me is part of the fun and learning curve. Keep cool, Taz!
Lovely to see your comments Judy! Valuable experience! XOXO
The Dalgona 16 is ABSOLUTELY 🔥 on you girl! Thanks for explaining why some companies products look and feel different.
Taz thank you for this valuable comparison video! I think you have to be the best wig reviewer on UA-cam!
Thank you for the kind compliments!! XOXO
Your videos have helped me so much!! I am new to wigs...about 1 month and have 3 wigs. You made my wig experience so much better. Thank you so much for your valuable insights. And you look beautiful in all your wigs 🌹🙏🏻
Thanks so much for the kind feedback Eva! XOXO
Fabulous demonstration of variances, Taz. 👍🏻
Thank you Cyn! XOXO
Information that’s GOOD TO KNOW‼️🥰

I really appreciate this topic and the trouble you went to to show us just how they can differ. Your always just the best at doing what you do. Thank you again lovely lovely lady. 💝🌟🥰
Thank you for this kind feedback Bonita! XOXO
Great examples and information Taz!! Thank you! xoxo - Andrea
Thanks for stopping by Andrea! Information is power! 💪🏻💝🤗
This is such a timely video as I was just going to pose this question to the Wig studio1 support group.
As a wig wearer, this can be pretty frustrating at times and I really appreciate you addressing this issue.
Something I'd love to see a video on is about the variances in the same color on different wigs from the same manufacturer, as well as
the variances in the color and rooting of a wig in the same exact style and color. I've gotten wigs that are the same color and style as my wig sister, only to find that the color is either darker or lighter or the roots are longer and darker. So there are definitely inconsistencies in color as well.
Love your videos! ❤️
I love your instructional videos. We are so lucky to have you. Have a wonderful day
Thank you for the kind comments Debra! XOXO
Great video my sweet friend!!!!! Thanks for educating people about wig variances and how they affect how the same wig can look totally different from person to person. Have a great weekend Taz!!!! 👍👍👍👍😘
Thank you dear Jennifer! You too! 💛💛💛
Very helpful Taz! This info makes us feel less incompetent when we can’t get our wigs to look as good as yours! Haha! 😘🤪
Thank you for these comments! XOXO
Great video Taz, i cannot believe the difference in these wigs. My problem is finding one that i feel comfortable in to wear out, either too small or too big. Maybe one day I'll reach that "sweet spot" lol. Again great video, have a wonderful day and upcoming week.
Great points Sandra! I am seeing more and more variation in sizing lately! Which is a true bummer.. we can live with other variances, but if the wig doesn't fit or isn't comfortable to wear, that's a deal breaker. XOXO
That is so crazy on your first comparison of Dalgona. Also I have fallen in love with BelleTress ‘s Arista and I’ve ordered a few of them. The first two are different in length it seems. It’s crazy.
Thanks for sharing your experiences! 💕💕💕
I have not ever bought a wig that looks like the photo on the websites. Which is why I always look for Video reviews and hopefully the review lists their details so I can compare to my face/head size. So many variances, certainly keeps us on our toes.
Thank you for stopping by Moni! Great tips! Hugs! XOXO
Great information Taz! Thank you so much for taking your time to educate those of us that are newbie wig wearers. 😘
Welcome and Thank you for the kind feedback! I think variances among wigs are one of the biggest source of frustration in online wig shopping.. I doubt it will change anytime soon, so best to set the expectations right away. 💛💛💛
I'm new to wigs but am a lifelong sewist and knitter/crocheter. Big variances exist in fabrics and yarns too! Even a dye colour from one lot to the next can really affect the outcome of fabrics/yarns that are the same in all other respects. And as you know already, a synthetic fabric such as nylon let's say is the same basic chemical composition whether it's finalized as a wig, a yarn/thread, or as a piece of clothing.
I'm by not means an expert in manufacturing, but I learned recently that to cut fabric into a ready-to-wear style in a factory, a huge pile of fabric "squares" is put onto a saw platform and then a very long jigsaw-type saw descends and cuts out a hundred or more size 16s at once, for example! Learning that fact made me much more appreciative of sizing variances in ready-to-wear (and more tolerant of my own cutting mistakes when I'm cutting through only two layers of fabric to make a top LOL!). I imagine something similar is going on to make a wig...otherwise each one would cost 10-100x as much.
Great video as usual Taz. Your videos always contain every bit of information one could possibly hope to hear. You seem to take it in stride when your wigs are different. I don’t quite have the easy going attitude as you when it comes to wigs. I’m still struggling to feel secure in a wig and I do a lot of homework before I buy one. I therefore don’t much like surprise changes very well. That’s why I always make sure I can return the wigs I buy. To another topic if you don’t mind. I’ve been admiring your lipstick for a while now. Will you share what it is? You even made this video on variances and surprises be uplifting. You are a very special being here on earth. Thank you for sharing your beautiful light.
Thank you so much for sharing this! 💕💕💕
Taz, I’m not sure if you realized my question or if you’re just being tactfully private, but I hoped to know your lipstick shade. Sorry if I’m pushing. Love to you.
Taz, I love your videos. It's because of you that I started wearing wigs. Thank you!
Great information!!! Thank you for this! Happy Sunday ❤
Thank you for the comments Lori! Happy Sunday! XOXO
Such great information Taz, I’m so appreciative of this video, thank you! 💕🤗
Thank you Beth! XOXO
I'm looking forward to buying my first wig this year, and your post really gave me a good understanding about wigs in general. I do want to say I just ordered a top piece from Wig Studio 1, and I'll never shop anywhere else. The customer service at Wig Studio 1 is outstanding.
Thank so much for the comments Kat! I passed this along to the customer service team at WigStudio1! They work hard to be sure each and every customer gets the best possible care! XOXO
Awesome!! Which topper did you get?
This is such a great video, Taz! I have used this one so many times over the last few months to help people understand the variances. What a great resource!
🙏🏻😍😍
Hi Taz ! What a great review! U are so right about each wig being different ! Sometimes it is in the parting or the curl pattern definitely the bang area ! If I thought I could get Editors pick like the first curl pattern I'd get her ! You look good in anyone! Holy moly girl u can wear any length any color and bring out the best in all of them ! I like the Gabor one bet she would look perfect with a headband ! Totally enjoyed this much needed review ! Andrea is lucky to have you ! Love ya Babs ❤️🥰😘💕
Thank you dearest Babs!! Once we realize what we're getting into we can make better choices, right?! So many people still think I get "special wigs" for my reviews..lol. I wouldn't dream of holding disappointments against a reviewer or retailer.. we need to take responsibility for our choices even if the result is not what we expect:-) Love ya! XOXO
Thankyou Taz, so informative, and yes there are some discrepancies also. It was great to hear your views on this and I actually realise this, so it was no mystery. A great video, and thanks again Taz.
Thank you for these comments!! XOXO
Variances are so frustrating in purchasing wigs. I purchased three different Ellen Wille wigs in the same style and the only one I still wear is the first one I purchased on clearance. The other two are so different and it's so maddening because I love the style. Thank you for the information.
Thank you for sharing this! XOXO
Going through cancer treatments so relying on wigs now. Previously bought Raquel Welch which are good quality... especially like their caps. But just bought my first BellTress....Cuban. I love the hair fibers on this wig....feels natural and light! I do hope the cap holds up! Otherwise, I think this one looks so real!
Hi Pamela! Thank you for the comments! I know there is a lot to learn about wigs, but it's so worth it to explore and find joy in wearing them! May God Bless and heal you my friend 🙏🏻🙏🏻🥰🤗
Very helpful Taz. I appreciate seeing the variances and colors across the same style. Super helpful to me. Thanks so much.
Thank you so much for the feedback Rachel! XOXO
All so true!!! I just bought my second Delaney by Envy. I have worn my first all summer and absolutely love it for comfort and style. I bought the same color and I swear it's not nearly as dimensional as the first...lighter blonde and not as blended. It fits the same and the style is fine but the fiber is also a bit softer and wispy. Oh well..I'll keep it and wear it but it can be nerve wracking!!! Love you girly!
Hi Betzie! Thank you for sharing this.. I think it's so valuable to have the right expectations.. especially the new online wig buyers. Love ya!! XOXO
Such a great video!!! Thank you so much for this Taz I get this comment on my reviews sometimes about colour variations 😘 xo
Thank you for adding your comments Andrea! All of us reviewers really want to give the best and most accurate information and it's SO helpful to viewers. But as helpful as we are, we cannot predict or control variances which is a huge source of frustration and disappointment among buyers.. Love watching your reviews! XOXO
So very helpful!!! Awesome job! Thanks Taz ❤️👍🥰
Thanks for this wonderful information. Some wigs have hand tied features which will certainly add variances. I understand the pandemic also affected wig making facilities and things got even more shuffled around. But your key message is to expect variations. I would return a wig that did not fit for sure. Otherwise, have to figure out if I think I can make it work without actually doing anything to it. Reviewers have helped a lot.
Right you are Margaret! Over time, I realize to expect variances and do my darndest to make it work! XOXO
Thank you, Taz. Extremely helpful and informative.
Thanks Taz for doing this! New to wig purchasing and I really appreciate this clarification. Have A Good One!
Welcome! And thank you for the comments! 💕💕💕
Always valuable information!! Thank you ❤️
Thanks so much Vickie! XOXO
Wow! Love this video, thank you so much. I really appreciate the side by side comparisons. I've learned a lot today for you and you've explained very well some of the difficulties I've had in ordering wigs. Thanks!
Hi Teri! Thank you so much for this feedback! XOXO
Wonderful Information for Sure Sweet Friend!! You Look Beautiful!! Thank You Sooo Much!! Love and Hugs!! XOXOXO
Thank you my sweetheart of a friend. I always love hearing from you! 🙏🏻💕🤗
Beautiful in everything as always 💕 TFS.
I appreciate that💝💝💝
Very helpful! After many yrs of wig wearing, I am very hesitant and watch multiple reviews before I order & I am pretty good styling even if variances. But very cautious as money does not grow on trees at my house. think one thing that ALL reviewers could do to help and in all honesty, so could wig manufacturers ( but doubt they ever will), is ALWAYS list the wearer's/ model's face shape and measurements. RW used to list what face shapes a style was good for and that was GREAT! But you have to truly know your face shape and measurements then compare that to style lengths and etc. You have to truly own those & not delude yourself because you fell in love with some style that may be looked great on another but will end up as a miss on you. ( guilty here) Us who are over 70, ( guilty again) cannot pull off these thick density wigs as we might have when younger, at least most cannot. Not as REALISTIC, since our natural density and texture changes as well as color and skin
tones as we age. Personally, I know what I see in my mirror is normally not what other people see, sadly. You and Eileen let us know those measurements..much appreciated!!
Thank you so much for this thoughtful add on and feedback!! XOXO
Boy Taz you said it correctly every wig is different. I have 2 Editor's Pick in two different colors and totally different. I waited almost a month to get BT Counter Culture and then the color was totally to dark and it had hardly no curl as I seen you had a lot of curls. Beautiful wig just had to return because of the color. I know to expect the difference. No fault of the company I ordered from just how they are manufactured. I know they can be different after all the years of wearing wig's now. I love them because I fill more confident with wearing wig's. So I will return if need to and fuss around with some to customize some to work for me. I am just so Thankful for these beautiful wig's! Taz we need all the education on wig's as we can get you always provide so much for us. Have a great week my beautiful sweet friend. ❤
Thank you so much for sharing this commentary Patty! It is so helpful for others to see and gain perspective! When we have the right expectations, we can focus more on the joy of the journey. Blessings and big hugs! XOXO
Thank you for everything you do. When I purchase a wig I watch your video to it helps me so much
Thank you so much Julie! XOXO
Great information! 💕
💛💛💛
You are so right. I still make an occasional disastrous purchase, like my recent Vada. Itchy, scratchy, rudimentary lace front, no velvet ear tabs, price tag comparable to a great quality RW or JR. disappointed. Relegated to the bad box in the cupboard. Well done!
Thank you for sharing! Wearing wigs is WONDERFUL! But the reality of wig wearing is also accepting the possibility of these negative aspects of the journey💜💜💜
Hi my beautiful taz.very helpful information indeed.we now know what to expect.the majority of women love curly style and every wig is not the same.i am in love with simmer and i think i will purchase it from wig studio 1.thanks again for the great help and support you give to us.phay.
Thank you sweet Phay!! XOXO
Any wigs that you show, the company should give you lots of credit. You are gorgeous and could wear a mop on your head and give hope to others. ps I love how you tweak your wigs. I gotta have the lift and out of the face too. Thank you for all of your videos.
We’ve probably all been thru getting a wig that’s just a dud! Happens with everything that’s manufactured- whether it’s vacuum cleaners, TV’s, computers . . . or wigs. I only buy from where I can return. Btw, just watched this vid with my mom & she said - Oh that’s Taz’s Knots Landing wig! I think she meant another Donna Mills one - so timeless & beautiful, eh? 😀
I thinks it’s so amazing that you enjoy wigs (and tv and movies!) with your mom! 💝💝💝
Wow, first Gabor one looks 2021 the second lighter one looks so dated to me, 1998. I'm an interior designer and all of these issues are identical to flooring (hard&soft) upholstery...even art. A tile glazed in the winter in italy will be startlingly different from one glazed(fired) in summer ...thats why there are dye lots. Same with carpet. Made by computer but the smallest changes in humidity and temp can change colors fairly dramatically. To bad no matching dye lots with wigs so a more similar product can be successfully bought. Same dye lot tile and carpet match each other very consistently. Thanks for all the great content!
Thank you for adding this! Great comparisons! XOXO
Really appreciated the wig comparisons! Thank you!
💛💛💛
Outstanding presentation the ladies of Las Vegas are going wild over here!! There goes the rent money!! (Haha)
OH.. hahaha!! I hope to visit that neck of the woods this winter if Covid settles down! XOXO
I noticed just the other day that one of my wigs was manufactured in Indonesia and it set me wondering about the people there. Apparently they are not doing well at all at the moment due to the pandemic. If any are watching from that country I'm sure we wish them all well. I only have wavy wigs for occasional wear so haven't yet hit on the problem of variation in one particular style but I've definitely noticed the difference in 'average' as regards sizing. Having an average/large head circumference I don't generally fare too badly. In the UK you do have to be careful where you buy - some of our retailers won't accept returns - I think it may be a throwback to pre-Brexit days/EU regulations!
Thank you for sharing this!! XOXO
And this is exactly what is frustrating about purchasing wigs. Finding a wig shop that is relatively nearby and that you’re actually able to go in and freely check things out without pressure and they have good stock is nearly impossible, and I live in a large metropolitan area in Southern California. Then when you order online some companies won’t even let you try them on if you need to return it and those that do let you try it on -you can’t do anything like shake it out or anything to see what the curl pattern of the style is really going to look like -it’s a very difficult process and these wigs are not cheap! I don’t go and buy the little costume wigs at the local beauty supply that are $40 or $50, these wigs that we buy are at best even on sale are $200 to $300 and even after watching a lot of reviews and reading reviews it’s very frustrating to not get what you’re expecting and not really be able to do much about it. I greatly appreciate these channels, especially your’s Taz, they are very helpful! However, I really don’t know what the answer is because I know that wig companies are in business, I know they have to be able to resell their wigs, but at the same time as a buyer we need to have adequate time and be able to check it out and try it on and fluff it up a bit to be able to see what is really going to look like. It’s a frustrating situation for sure!😞
Great points!💫
Great information Taz, you can definitely see the variations between the wigs, you know I love curls and I couldn't believe the difference when I bought Wikki a while back, compared to your Wikki, total lack of curl on mine and I was shocked by how different they both looked! You always manage to get the best curly ones first time, wish I was that lucky! I do love the RW and Gabor wigs, but I'd be too scared to buy one in case they didn't look like yours do, it I know these things can't be helped and not guaranteed to be the same! 😒 You look amazing in them all especially the two long wigs 😘 Hugs my friend xoxo
Thank you dear friend! I remember your Wiki experience.. I have (had) 4 Wiki's.. all different in some way. The first run of that style was my favorite! XOOX
This is so helpful! Thank you 💞
Thanks so much for this review. This is what I needed to hear to be confident that January Petite will fit me. Ordering soon!
I enjoyed this informational video and I thank you for sharing your experiences and knowledge.
Thank you for the kind feedback! 💕🙏🏻💛
Great info. The availability of video reviews has changed my experience for the best.
100%!!
Hi I am wig shoppers here I enjoy this video taken to find perfect wig . I have one question how can you keep the wig in the same style I bought in (wig shoppers )
Thanks for the comments!! Maybe viewers can help answer this.. synthetic wigs should hold their style through washing, etc.. XOXO
@@TAZSWIGCLOSET I known right I have a question am little shy about wearing my wig how can get my confidence up thank. U. (Wig shoppers)
Such great information in this video. I like the waves in most wigs and would be disappointed to get the same wig with tighter curls. Is there a way to relax those curls? TFS 😊
Thanks for the comments Annette! Great ideas! XOXO
Thanks Taz! I really appreciated this review showing the differences. I have 4 Ellen Wille Girl Monos... and EVERY one is different, hahaa!! I've learned to love each one in it's own unique way. :-)
Yes, Girl Mono is another style that each one is different. Great attitude..love it! 💛💛💛
Sometimes, it is very disapointing because the price is the same and wigs are getting more and more expensive.
True! XOXO
I agree. When you pay several hundreds of dollars or more for something, a customer has a right to expect some level of standards for consistency.
Help Taz!!!!Thank you Taz for this because my last two wigs I ordered were not at all what I thought I would receive. One was " Sweet Talk" and it was so bad my husband said throw that thing away it makes you look so old. Needless to say that is exactly what I did. It would not have looked good on anyone. The other was "Unfiltered" which I could not wait to receive. It was not at all what it looked like on reviewers. It was straight hardly any curl and I know you are not supposed to shake them of move them in anyway or they can not be returned. However, I thought maybe it will look better if I shake it and play with it. No that was a huge mistake. It looked awful. So now I am stuck again with an over $300 wig I can not wear. So sad. When you say The Wigstudio 1 is more permissive do they take a wig back that has been moved if even just a little so you can actually tell what you are paying for or would they not give you a refund. Thank you for your help.
Hello and thank you for sharing this!! When returning a wig to WigStudio1 or any other online retailer, you want to be care not to remove tags, brush or comb it or interrupt the parting space. I recommend either decided to keep it or return it before heavily manipulating it in any way or you may jeopardize your return:-) I wish there was a better way, but truth is, a retailer cannot sell on clearance if the wig has been "moved" around, etc.. XOXO
@Miss Sandy, isn't it frustrating?! I recieved Henry Margu January today.
I've watched Taz & CrazyWigLady review and thought it so beautiful.
Mine looks nothing like it.
I thought"oh,I can shake it out and make it look livelier"
Nope. Looks like I'm like you:stuck w/an ugly wig!
I've never tried to return one I've shook out. I know they say if that criss cross part is disturbed they won't accept a return 😥
Great review and information Taz. Thanks 💗 what wigs are D, F and S
Hello! D is Jon Renau Ignite in 22F16, F is Belle Tress City Roast in Cream Soda Blonde, S is Ellen Wille Link in Pastel Rose Rooted
Great video!
Hi Cindy!! Thank you for stopping by! Love and blessings and big hugs from OHio! XOXO
Great!
For sure! My Dalgona 16 looks nothing like yours Sad!
Ok Taz that sweet talk difference is unacceptable to me. I mean really they look totally different.❤️
Hi Megan.. I was really disappointed! XOXO
I couldn’t believe just how different they all are from one another, it’s not good in any shape or form. These companies should at least try to make them look similar, as some looked like completely different styles. I’ve got a larger head circumference & have been told certain companies would fit only to be told something different by someone else. This puts me off trying to buy a wig online in Australia, I’m better off going into a store instead. Great video Taz 👌🏻👍🏻🥂
Thanks so much for this video😍
💛💛💛
Thank you Taz! This was very helpful. Still, it can be disappointing at times, especially when the density is much less than what you were expecting. Love and blessings 🙏❤
Yes I agree:-) XOXO
Hi Taz: I just watched your video on wig variances, again. I needed it. You’re right… sometimes our expectations don’t meet the reality of a particular wig. We’re like disappointed kids who didn’t get their wished for “red bike” on Christmas morning. HaHa! Here’s a quick story about disappointment: I recently moved from CA to NY. Unfortunately, our belongings ended up being in storage for 75 days. I know…. Every one of my Belle Tress wigs (6 of them) lost their cap elasticity! I tried them on and the ears tabs came down below my earlobes! They looked like hairy football helmets! Now, that’s a disappointment (not to mention a huge $ loss). BUMMER, huh? TAZ, THANKS FOR ANOTHER TERRIFICALLY USEFUL REVIEW.
Thank you for the wonderful feedback! XOXO
That differences between wigs in the same style is what I find very frustrating because purpose of wigs for me is that I cannot style my hair very well so I pick a wig based on the style I see and then I get one that’s flat in the front or the curl pattern’s not the way it looks and then it’s frustrating.
Very good review of wig variances. .... I also always appreciate and consider the measurements of the reviewers face and head measurements. I believe that Taz (you) are very Petite? With a 6.5 or 6.75 temple to chin if I remember correctly? That combined with chin to neck length makes a huge impact on the visual seekers anticipation when trying to picture themselves in the style... The more average face length I'm guessing (based on some of the other reviewers I watch falls at 7.75 to 8.5 temple to chin and 4" chin to neck.) If you think about it ...that's a 12" length just to collarbone and many people don't consider that.... The face measurement is one of my personal go to staples when I'm considering length... love your reviews... you are the reason I have been successful and confident and you are the reason I found wigstudio1. Many Hugs 💜
My only problem with any of your videos is that they make me purchase more wigs than I should.
It does get addicting!!!
Taz thank you for this video, I ordered RW editors pick, my very first wig purchase and wow so disappointed with the whole experience !! The density on top and back is so awfully thin, and so little curl, the fit is not right, not what I was expecting! So a year has went by and Im ready to try this again, ! Thinking of RW unfiltered, wish me luck !
If the cap keeps slipping up a little at a time, what does that mean? Caliente does that and it .makes me nervous in case it erupts lool!! The ear tabs seem too high also. I guess I need a bigger size?? This is very confusing to me. My circumference is 22". I'm so glad you are explaining many things.
I explain this very problem in this video.. hope it helps! XOXO ua-cam.com/video/Eu4XwLWGdd0/v-deo.html
@@TAZSWIGCLOSET I've been looking for answers for a while now. "But of course" you have the video to explain. I should have known!!! Thank you soooo much 💕
I think it also has to do with lighting and personal styling from the wig reviewer‘s channel as well. That’s why I look at several different wig reviewers when I am looking at a wig to purchase.
Great points! I always also recommend watching several review of a piece.. this will give you an idea if there are variances well:-) XOXO
Such great information as always!Absolutely love the Dalgona on you...l just ordered it myself ! ,Can you tell me the names of the wigs on B and C?Thanks so much!Hope you have a beautiful week!, Candy
Hello! B is Belle Tress Straight Press 18 in British Milktea and C is Jon Renau Julianne in Venice Blonde XOXO
Taz what you do is amazing and so helpful!
However with the prices we pay for these wigs I do think there should be some semblance of conformity in size, shape and style. Variances are one thing but a completely different size style and shape is a little much. Wigs here in my part of Canada are 400$ and up. And there's no generous return policies. While I'm grateful to be able to have wigs and that the quality has improved immensely over the years they still need better inspection of the end product if you're not even sure it'll fit on your head! Lol
Great points! I always enjoy your comments! XOXO
Your videos are so helpful, I'm in the market for my first wig and you have been a big help. I'm wondering what wig is oh your mannequin head "F"? It looks to be a short waved bob. I did really find your Julianne Lite review very helpful, that's one of my top choices I believe. there's just so many options! thank you for all your insight.
Thank you for the feedback! F is Belle Tress City Roast in Cream Soda Blonde, it's one of the featured wigs in this video ua-cam.com/video/a6UzY96dtR4/v-deo.html XOXO
GREAT look..whats the lipstick brand and color??
Maybelline ink crayon in color Lead The Way (15) XOXO
You can pull off any style!! I’m loving belltress do you have to curl them after you wash them or do they hold the original curl? Thank you for sharing
Hi there! I have never curled any of my Belle Tress styles:-) Synthetic wigs should hold their style through washing:-) XOXO
Thanks Taz... great info but what is the answer?? Make sure you know the returns policy before you purchase.
As a topper wearer, let’s talk about clips???? So disappointing that a decent brands including Raquel Welch use cheap, uncomfortable clips!
Sorry I am not following your question. Feel free to email support@wigstudio1.com XOXO
@@TAZSWIGCLOSET when a wig doesn’t meet your expectations, it’s important to understand the returns policy. I’ve been impulsive and learnt my lesson!
As for clips... well that’s a topic I would love to see explored!
The reviews on U-tube often present the wigs as much lighter in color than they are in reality.
Yes, ring lights, studio lighting, camera's and devices will alter color a bit.. that's why I describe it with my words and do outside shots as well. XOXO
I have a question. I have purchased a lace front wig. It's beautiful! I only have one problem. At the studio the lady cut the wig while.on my head. But the lace that is showing is lighter than my skin. How do.i get that to blend. I don't like hair in my face so pin it back. But I just can't get the lace to blend in with my skin. Please help. I have to wear wigs now or keep my head covered. Because I have psoriasis and most of my hair has fallen out.i also have pics to shows what I'm talking about if needed.
Maybe this will help? ua-cam.com/video/D_UFLequNXA/v-deo.html
Great video Taz! Do you have another video that tell and shows how to get that frontal lift put it? I just got in Avalon by Esthetica and I love the curl pattern through out but the front on the right side is so heavy and it just wants to keep falling in my face. I haven' t tried any but water to get it to stay. Should i try heat and a steamer? Any hints? The left side I have loosely pinned back with a tiny clip
