Wow!!!! You two beautiful lady's are so blessed. What a beautiful song. My Daddy would have loved this song so much. He was a huge Rhonda Vincent fan and I really love Rebecca Lynn Howard. Great job girlfriends 😙😊😊😙
I had forgotten all about Rebecca Lynn Howard. When I first discovered her I really liked her style, but then I let her slip away. I'll have to go look her up again. I like Rhonda on the high harmony here. Oh, and wow, mandolin, fiddle, and dobro! Would have been nice to have a banjo in there, too. Emmylou Harris does a pretty good version of this song, too. It's much more mellow, though. I think I like this version better.
Mams u guys r really great makeing the song much more alive n so refreshing I'm impressed above all Our almighty must be watching u guys n feel happy for His creation mankind looking forward for another song making alive again God bless u all
RLH steals the show!! What a sweet, powerful voice! She can feed me milk and cookies all night long. And then, not to mention - Carl Jackson on backing vocals and guitar, Sam Bush on mando. I love all 4 of these Greeaat artistes! Years back I had the great honor and privilege of meeting Rhonda Vincent in person at the Wind Gap bluegrass festival in Pennsylvania, had my picture taken with her too. She is very fan friendly, and a beautiful personality.
I too am a Howard. My dad was a son of Samuel Howard who drowned back about 1912 while moving logs down the river to a saw mill. They lived in Breathit County. His mother's name was Elizabeth I was just wondering if we are related to Lynn Howard
I think Rhonda was second fiddle on this one, as much as I love her singing, Rebecca's powerful vocals and great tone really shown through, at least to me!
After reading Charlie Louvin's book, I think Ira was something close to evil -- certainly the drunk version of him, anyway. The fact that he also wrote this sublime gospel song -- along with so many others -- is just one of those crazy examples of the duality of man.
If you Like Sam Bush on the mandolin and you want to see more do a UA-cam search for the song "White Freightliner". It's a version with a group he had called The Newgrass Revival. It's from an old episode of Austin City Limits and it's a classic.
I think Rhonda should be singing the high harmony on this. Rebecca is an amazing singer but it sounds like she is pushing too hard in some places 0:32. I wish Carl could have gotten a little closer to that mic, his harmony is awesome but it got lost between those two powerhouse women. All round excellent performance though!
Carl Jackson sings this song with the Church Sisters ua-cam.com/video/_oBSlwZXwu8/v-deo.html Rhonda's there, too, listening. Give it a listen - you'll be glad you did.
2024 and I still listen to this melodious song👍

Yep, they got it right.
Rebecca é genial!!!
Rhonda caries this. She is amazingly overlooked (by the "establishment" talent! Love you so much, Rhonda!!!

Super aggressive babes. Love 'em!!!!
and Sam Bush too!!!

No
No Rebcca is from ky her mom is a very beautiful lady.
I vote yes
These women have beautiful Harmony!!!They are Angel's!!!!💓💓💓
The Opry is not known for it's great sound engineering, ESPECIALLY on tv.
Rhonda usually outshines everybody she sings with not this time Rebecca Lynn held her own and can flat ass sing
😃👍

I haven't seen Rhonda with brown hair very many times.
Rhonda is no known in the UK as the radio in will only play patsy Cline or Dolly Paton Drives me mad.
This is the first time I've seen Rhonda with brunette hair.
Where is the blonde hair Rhonda?
I have never seen Rhonda as a brunette Beautiful either color!
Slaap lekker mijn ogen vallen dicht

Rhonda's there, too, listening. Give it a listen - you'll be glad you did.
please someone get me a blanket - my ears are hurting...
none better
It's good, but Rebbecca needs a little more control on her vocals. Her voice over road the Carl's voice. She's piercing and loud.
That's why you'll notice her backin away from the mic more than the others.I was thinkin the same but you can bet it was rehearsed.
Anyone who thinks this is beautiful should listen to Church Sisters ,,,
Кричат кромко мимо нот . А песня хорошая.
Rebecca Lynn Howard has *NO BUSINESS* being on the stage with Rhonda Vincent; Rebecca is awful!
You, sir, are an idiot.
I don't know if she doesn't belong but someone should turn up her ear piece or something
Rebecca is hollering, Rhonda is singing. There is actually a spot where the look on Rhonda's face tells it all....
Disagree
I agree. She is yelling instead of singing. Very distracting.
