Thanks a lot for the review, this is literally the only video on UA-cam, that did give me the answer to my main question: does it fit in 5.11 cargo pocket? You have demonstrated this part very well! So, many thanks!
Had to write. This review was simply well thought, concise, and the well done. Comparison shots of the other Maxpedition pocket organizers with size was great. Demo with 5.11 pants gave a good size comparison to where the micro would fit. Thank you for taking the time to show different items for different uses (ie first aid, edc, camera/cell phone accessories,etc). One of the best reviews....NO...THE BEST review on this item. Will sub. Thank you for your efforts. It's appreciated.
Outstanding video Stefan! I picked up two of these last week and I am using one of them as my current EDC organizer. You really can fit a lot in these little pouches. Thanks for the great video and keep up the great work.
Lol, I can't wait until they come out with the Nano Organizer:) That was a really awesome introduction to the entire family of Maxped Organizers. I love Maxped's stuff! Thanks for the review.
@mintyvision Maxpedition offers such a broad range of products, you will always find a product that suits your needs better than another one. It's great that the 2x5 notebook cover works for you. Thanks for sharing!
Iv been wanting to buy some maxperdition gear, and chose this i looked at many reviews of it,and this one is by far the best.You really know your stuff :)I will be buying it soon
So in other words, the Maxpedition 3" by 5" Notebook cover is actually smaller and actually fits in a normal pocket. Nice video though, first full review of the Micro on youtube. Nice one!
fantastic review as always. i always enjoy watching your videos. i found the 2x5 notebook cover far superior to the micro edc in almost every way. its slimmer, tougher, holds more, and what it does hold it holds more securely and it a far more accessible way. a cable tie even managed to poke itself through the fabric of the inside pockets on my micro organiser. in addition i have found the notebook cover receives a more positive response from those not into carry lots of pocket gadgets.
@stschmalhaus That's fair enough - I have seen the others and none of them are as clear as you would do! I am also fairly sure that the MBPro will fit the Falcon, but not the Pygmy
I've been using this for a week now and am pleased with it. It feels a lot smaller than the mini. I was a little disappointed that the pockets are not big enough to hold a Moleskine cahier (without cutting!) and that putting a Fisher Space Pen in the loop tag is also not really possible - the pen is a bit long for the width of the pouch. On a different matter have you done a review on the Falcon? I'm looking for a work bag to carry my old MacBook pro and am looking at the flacon and the pygmy
I would carry a potato in mine. Lol. Those still fit some good sized stuff. I may need something like thi soon if I carry more stuff in my cargo pockets
@edgedweapon88 Thank you, Keelen! This little pouch is also an ideal gift. I think I'm going to buy a bunch of them and give them to friends and relatives.
Great review. Where did you get that Snowpeak Short Spork? I have been trying to get a pair here in the UK but to no avail. I emailed Snowpeak about them and they wanted to charge $39 shipping on two $9 sporks!
Good review, Stefan. For me right now, the Micro is just too small for me. when it gets to this size, I usually have the contents of it spread out on my body, if you know what I mean. I find the F-1 and the F.I.G.H.T. pouch are about as small as I have (I forgot about my RollyPoly MM pouch). I may find the need for them in the near future though, aka Christmas!
I think there's room for the Maxpedition Nano Pocket Organiser to be developed, each side having two elastic bands and height maxed to cover a SAK/Leatherman or pocket flash light. Will you do the review when that arrives?
Nice review, as always! One question: I saw you put your Leatherman Style CS into the micro. I also own the Style an loved it at first, but after days of use it's scissors already got clearance ("Spiel haben" auf Deutsch) and therefore don't cut very well anymore. Did you observe the same problem? (Hope that was not too OT!)
It's unfortunate that some of the features are missing. The molle webbing on the back was sort of essential to me, not only for attaching it, but also as a place to slip in some quick items such as a pen and a penlight. Can't do that now which is irritating. They need to re-think that one. It's sort of saying "budget" and "compromise" to me.
@WanderingWallaby I haven't done a review on the Falcon 2 so far - and I probably won't do one because there are already lots of reviews here on UA-cam.
@worldwar2wiseman Mini or Micro? The Mini is too large. As for the Micro, yes, it fits in a jeans pocket but, of course, it depends on how much stuff you put in the pouch.
I've looked all over and still haven't seen a video that includes bicycling gear, like which pocket organizer will fit a bicycle tube? Do I have to go for a Fatty, Beefy or Chubby?
Woher beziehst du denn all deine Maxpedition-Artikel?
Still relevant today, thank you for taking the time to make this video 🙏🙏
You're welcome!

Best video showing the relative sizes to help me make my decision on which to buy first for my edc bag. Love the bag inside a bag intro!
You always have the latest in maxpedition stuff I like. Thanks for sharing.
As men, we all enjoy stuffing objects inside pouches. You are tempting me into spending money again!
I liked the comparison of different sizes, thank you so much! Greetings from Lima-Perú!

@TheLazySpoiledKitty Among the four sizes of pocket organizers there should be something for everybody.
I would carry a potato in mine. Lol. Those still fit some good sized stuff. I may need something like thi soon if I carry more stuff in my cargo pockets
@katabunga I guess they prefer someone without a German accent. ;-) Thanks for watching, Kat!

super video, besonders der direkte Vergleich, 1A
great review!
and thanks for sharing :)
@tendollarword tendollarword is right, it's a Leatherman Style CS.
Excellent review. Which size do you think is more useful, the mini size or the mirco size? Thanks
It depends on YOUR needs.
@@StefanSchmalhaus thanks .

Een Matruschka-organiser
You can always make alterations to it! You just need the right materials and a talented tailor to make it to your specific needs - simple thing.
+1
@PavlovSandor You should do a video on the tactical use of potatoes. LOL
@VictorVonDoom33 Thank you!

Very nicely done review. Thanks
@darkchild57 A pouch smaller than the Micro would probably work as a key ring pouch.
@PM4HIRE Maybe you are looking at the wrong online shops? It's even available here in Germany.
Its finally here!! :), although i love this micro one... i'll stick with my mini :), its perfect for my needs!!
@GMGvanS I know that you've said this to me before. You see, I have no problem with learning from the French.
@WanderingWallaby I haven't done a review on the Falcon 2 so far - and I probably won't do one because there are already lots of reviews here on UA-cam.

this is perfect for me
@termin8r23 The scissors on my Style CS are fine. But I have to admit, I haven't put the scissors to hard use so far.
I've looked all over and still haven't seen a video that includes bicycling gear, like which pocket organizer will fit a bicycle tube? Do I have to go for a Fatty, Beefy or Chubby?
@GMGvanS So what are you worried about? LOL
@ltbarber3 Thanks for your support!
@troy5690 Thank you, Troy!

@tendollarword I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
@ascorpio09 Thanks for watching!
does it fit also in the front pockets of sitka or kodiak?
@UraganOtEnergiya Yeah, I've always been too camera shy to show my pants. But after working on my self-confidence, things are getting better now. ;-)
Wish there was at least a belt loop.
@GMGvanS Err... this thing is not meant for this purpose. Silly Frenchman! ;-)

DO YOU THINK A SPYDERCO PARA 3 WILL FIT IN THE MICRO ORGANIZER?
I have no idea. I don't own a Para 3 or any other Para model.
