Honda S2000 What Are These?

A common S2000 question. What are those pins on the sides of the seat and back of the roll hoop bars? All S2000's have them but many don't know what they are for. So it's time to solve it!

In my 3 years of ownership I've never put this on, probably because I live in England and it's too risky to not be able to get the roof up in case it rains

I bought a tonneau cover on Craigslist for $50... it really completes the car....

oh, the top is uv protected on the outside only. so when the tops down, it takes a beating from the sun... the cover saves the top from drying out, like I yours.......
