Someone told me a riven is worth pricing it only when the stats are higher than the mods limit, for example 230% critical damage > organ shatter (150% or sum) Is that true?
not exactly, a riven is worth using only if it can replace a mod from your build. If your low dispo riven has +45-70% cold and +45-70% cold status chance, it's not going to replace your regular 60/60 mod, nor your build needs the extra cold and status chance usually. The easiest way to fit a riven is replace a mod for a riven that has the same or higher main stat plus whatever good second stat, in your example replace a a +90% CD and +45% Attack Speed riven COULD replace your +90% CD mod, just for having an extra second bonus. Now, there are stats that, even if the value it's lower than the regular mod, you can still use it along side with it because there are no extra mods for that stat. For example, CD in primaries, Vital Sense is +90% CD. You are not going to replace it with a 60% CD + whatever secondary stat riven, but maybe it is good enough to improve the build replacing one of your elemental mods.

They do affect the pricing a lot yes, higher stats (grade A/S) are worth more than F C B graded stats
