Nick has easily the best and most interesting stage presence of any bands/artists around today. He's just a beautiful front-man. He's also incredibly attractive....in a very unconventional way. I'm a straight guy...but I honestly find Nick to just be incredibly attractive as a human being.
the brilliance of Pond is exemplified in "Paint Me Silver" (35:50) where they create this lovely perfectly pop song and in the break near the end they sneak in this total weirdness that adds to the song.... without disrupting the "popness" of it. Reminds me of Can's best work ie Moonshake. Pond is seriously next level.

I went to see them in 2015 and in Portugal as well, in Paredes de Coura Festival and the audience there was so much better. A lot of people ready to see them in the second stage at 8 pm. I wish I was in this one was well.
Just saw them in Austin and got to hang out with them after the show at a burger food truck. Its amazing how lit and crazy they are on stage, and so down to earth and chill after. Love this guys!

Hace poco encontré esta banda y quede en shock por el nivel de producción. Pero empecé a verlos en vivo y siempre me encuentro el mismo problema, las tarimas y los ingenieros de audio no están dando la talla. Y lo que hacen es hacer lucir mal a la banda. Ojo 👁 no digo que se algo fácil de lograr, creo que muchos que vimos este video no damos la talla tampoco. Pero es que la banda esta sobre producida y replicar eso en vivo y en diferentes países es algo imposible. Sin embargo los show que hicieron en KEXP son perfectos.
