Maybe because the base mechanic, his RMB mechanic AND his ult are all basically just exact fucking copys of "Jhin - The Virtuoso"'´s abilitys. He has 4 shots until he has to reload, 4th shot deals bonus damage and Revenants ultimate is a scrapped design for "Fiora - The Grand Duelist"´s ultimate. The ultimate didn't got used because it was too toxic and almost impossible to balance. So have fun with your copied hero bringing more imbalance to Paragon.

Copied hero? Are you telling me that the 4 hit mechanic was invented by league? Or that the " teleport peolpe into another realm to duel" was also made by league? Well, in this case, Kindred's a copy of Bounty Hunter from DotA,because they both get bonuses when they kill a marked enemy champion.Cassiopea is a copy of Medusa, because they have the same ultimate, Kled is a copy of Centaur Warrunner's ult, because they both speed up their team, Blitzcrank is a copy of Pudge, and Karthus is a copy of Zeus ,because both of their ults deal damage to the whole enemy team. I can go on and on ,but I hope that's enough for you.

me and a friend of mine were just saying this, have people que in with a selected few heroes. it would have to be multiple choices so that counter picking is still a thing but if you just matched up people who didnt have the same selections it would go real smoothly
as far as i know Epic makes one of the best games out right now while its still in beta, and you are very very angry inside about something. I hope your heart feels love.

Edward Tapia they had this kinda when the game first game out. What happened more times than not is that you had a Rampage, Steel and like 3 supports on one team and nothing but adc and support on the other. It was pretty annoying.

also, if their abilies don't change on Fault/Predecessor, those videos from Epic won't ever be rendered useless.

Silent Blaze Most people don't when it comes to new characters.
He's going to be insanely OP if his stats aren't all worse than every other carry. The selective targeting for snowballing potential is absolutely bonkers. The only person he won't be able to 1v1 at an even level will probably be Serath.

The cooldown was 115 seconds I doubt you'll have to worry about it just make sure not to fight him unless you have equal remaining health and mana.

His reload speed seems to be really bad. He doesn't seem to be that hard to win a 1v1 against.

Shame Fortnite's success didn't come until after Paragon was already gone, else we probably would have seen it continuing.

@@DirtyDayan By the time Fortnite was huge, Paragon was already taken down and its team dissolved, so there wasn't any bringing it back by that point. Fortunately, Predecessor is shaping up really nicely as a return of Paragon.

The Darkskin Philosopher revenant use his ult you and your enemie target can't take no damage from none else only you and then person so there no throw diving

so this where Kai sa got her Q from, and Mordekaiser got his reworked Ult.
the fact that the overview demonstrates tower diving you know this character is crazy
To clarify his Ultimate:
- It states that the two in the Netherealm can only hurt eachother, teammates can still hurt the enemy.
- Revenant himself becomes invisible to everyone that isn't in the Netherealm.
- The enemy within the Netherealm can still be seen (and attacked) by enemies that aren't in the Netherealm.
- Revenant's ult has a huge Cooldown and a timer while active.
- Revenant himself cannot be attacked by enemies while in the Netherealm.
That towerdiving at the end makes me wanna fucking kill myself though.

The towerdive was to prove a point not to overextend. It's not like the creators of Unreal Engine tons of AAA games accidentally put footage of their tester feeding.

Hell yeah, it's finally out, I'm sad there are only 20 characters though, I need my twinblast and revenant lol, but the game itself is great, runs well, looks great, and plays just like paragon, the devs are working on gameplay first and then doing everything else. Can't wait.

This is really cool. Like the idea.
I wish, and not just with Revenant but with all color changing heroes,
that his abilities would share the same color effect as his eyes. If he
has red eyes and shoots red, when he has purple eyes, he should shoot
purple. I just feel like there is a little inconsistency within
characters that when corrected can vastly improve the cosmetics of a
hero.

More Ability Power for a hard Obliterate hit and finish with some Hellfire Rounds ?

I didn't understood why to reload manually, the passive comes just when you reload manually? Or you just have to take the ability?
André Gonçalves passive activates on unlock, reload is just if you don't want to waste shots or run out too quick in fights

@ 1:25 No one thinks it's not a little busted that when Revenant ults someone into his dimension that He can't be targeted or damaged by anyone but the target can still be targeted and damaged by your team? It's like a pseudo Dekker Ult.

His ultimate drags a PORTION of the target's essence, meaning the target can still be targeted by your teammates.
Ultimate bug at 1:25? Crunch gets hit by steel ultimate while in the nether...

the bounty ability is like lex from paladins cool nice too see that spreading around.
I literally am going to start maining this character. I love assassins, especially burst assassins, and I love tower diving (but only when I'm doing it). Also, BOUNTY HUNTERS ARE AMAZING!

The ult is a cool ideia, its not about stoling, having the same ideia is not impossible, and it even makes sense for mordekaiser.

Its funny how revenant's mechanic is Jhins reload and 4th shot mechanic with Kaisas Q ability and having the Visual of High Noon Jhin without shame btw atleast rito only copied the ult and changed it with stealing partial stats rather than getting extra gold and more power on the card (items).

Tower Diving: The Character
let's be honest guys, if they took out the tower diving in his ult, it'd be basically shit because towers are a big portion of the map, you basically fight by an enemy tower all the time so it'd be too easy for a Gideon to teleport on his tower and get off Scot free.
