What I really I love about Jeffrey is that he/we are all fully aware that he can afford a $50 lipstick or a $100 makeup palette, but he acknowledges that makeup can be unnecessarily expensive and he thinks about his fans.

It’s because he’s grown up less fortunate than he is living now so he’s able to VERY easily put himself in the position of 90% of his followers. Plus a lot of these brands just slap their name on something and it gets marked up like crazy because it’s essentially the brand you’re paying for, not the quality (SOME OF THE TIME OF COURSE. I’m not here to spew biased shit just because I’m broke as shit LOL. A lot of the time you’ll buy a luxury brand item & the quality will be completely worth the price.).
But yes. Just because you’re worth millions doesn’t mean you can’t still sit there and say something is a little too ridiculously priced.

It's cool to see a makeup review like this with natural outdoor lighting every once in a while, instead of the studio lighting. The studio lighting always looks fantastic, but daily I get ready with natural window lighting to achieve the best blending, so it's nice to see both!!

I had his videos playing on my tv legitimately all day long one day, he is honestly so soothing to listen to and watch lol
okay no tea no shade, though the Natasha palette is gorgeous and pigmented. I can’t help but think the blood sugar palette looks so much more luxurious for half the price and the PIGMENT IS THERE HUNNI. Other makeup lines should follow suit.
Honestly natasha's palette looks like $54 while blood sugar looks like at least $70 -100 just packaging wise and the size of the pans as well as the logos for the shadows stamped in them. The average person would prob think Jef's is more $$$. For all that I could just buy 2 of Huda Bueaty eyeshadow palettes or a ton of too faced or the holy grail pat mcgrath. She made a mini palette for $50 (it's 50 or 52 within that range) and the pan size is very generous. I'd rather get 2 of those. The green, blue and sun tan are the only shades I'd like from natasha summer palette.
I could not agree more. Natasha Denona's shades are very hit or miss, some are so nice, some are SO not and the packaging is pretty subpar for an average of $130. The Blood Sugar palette though, yessss...it looks and feels so luxe and so expensive and the shades are, almost, all SO creamy and blend SO well. It just proves you don't have to buy a $130 palette to get real, honest quality. If you really need to splurge, Pat McGrath is a goddess, YSL shadows are so nice, there are much better options than Natasha Denona.

I really love the Natasha denona look of the tropical pallet because I like the packaging. TBH I hate paying an arm and a leg for a pallet that gets dirty super fast but I agree with you ladies. I've really been wanting to get it from beautylish but I've heard some horror stories already

I love that Jeffree and other influencers aren't afraid to be honest and say that the price doesn't always make a product better and there are hits and misses with every brand.
I liked the Givenchy highlighter more than the Cover FX one. Something about the highlight color matching your skin color makes it look so good! It is basically your skin glowing!
Dol _ yeah Jeffree definitely has different preferences than me. I love an intense highlight but that’s not automatically what makes a highlighter amazing for me. How it sits on the skin and the luminosity is just as important.

fresh and full of moisture. I try a lot of skin care and it smelled like it would be really hydrating from the ingredients.
