This was a great video. It was super informative without being preachy. Well done Sir.

As a hearing impaired individual it’s hard to pick your voice out of the soup. The soup being your background music. I would certainly appreciate a clean copy. You are an experienced talker, I don’t think you need the fill. Thanks for your video.

I’m not hearing impaired, but I found the music loud enough to be distracting too. Nothing wrong with having music but -18dB to -22dB is probably what to aim for.
Good content though, so thanks for the work! 🙂

Great information. Can you explain how I should end a conversation? When I am done making a contact, If I am not the last person to end the conversation, I say my call sign followed by "out." If I am the last person to leave the conversation, I end with my call sign followed by "Clear" to notify others that the frequency is clear. Is this proper, or is there some other way I should be ending a conversation?
Also, I was monitoring a repeater on Echo Link. The station operator hit me up about an hour later asking if I was still on as he did not hear me sign off. Is it proper etiquette to sign off from a frequency when you are done monitoring?

Talking too fast. Difficult to understand sometimes.

      What a terrible comment.

Talking too fast? Why is that a terrible comment? The easy solution is to go to your setting gear and decrease the speed. I found it comfortable at .75.

@@billchessell8213 I wish I could do that when my daughter talks to me. I am hearing impaired and need at least SOME space between words.
