- The International Court of Justice will deliver its Order on the Request for the indication of provisional measures submitted by Nicaragua in the case concerning Alleged Breaches of Certain International Obligations in respect of the Occupied Palestinian Territory (Nicaragua v. Germany). A public sitting will take place at the Peace Palace in The Hague, during which Judge Nawaf Salam, President of the Court, will read the Court’s Order.

All the court has done is not grant the provisional measures sought by Nicaragua because Germany proved to the court that it had amended its decisions with regards to both weapons supply to Israel as well as resumed funding to UNRWA. The provisional measures sought by Nicaragua are therefore rendered null and void by virtue of the corrective actions Germany has adopted.
*Importantly:* the court has accepted jurisdiction for the case and it will therefore remain open and charges can be brought by Nicaragua as and when they become available.
*Reminder: Germany asked for the case to be thrown out. The court declined this.*
*Note:* UN Weapons Inspectors will investigate the array of weapons used in the Gaza Strip and table their reports. Should so much as even components for these weapons be found to be used in the commission of genocide on the Gaza Strip pending the outcome of the South African v Israel case, Germany will be found guilty for enabling the genocide. Look into the AI programmes Lavender and Where's Daddy used in the targeting of Gazan's.
Never underestimate the value of UN reports. It's what South Africa depended on entirely to bring its case against Israel. Germany will get nailed for its crimes, it's only a matter of time.

It's standard for UN Weapons Inspectors to comb the sites of all conflicts and report on even the minutest details. They file reports methodically. As the ICJ is the Court for the UN, they rely heavily on these reports.
Ever heard of Scott Ritter? He was the UN Weapons Inspector for Iraq and immediately pointed the finger for the WMD's claim to Israel. Look him up. Come over to the other side. Disappointing outcome because it sets a bar for what we can expect when USA and Israel are held to scrutiny. The pressures on the court right now are also enormous; the court itself is facing possible sanctions unless it respects and bows to the authority of Western/Israeli Exceptionalism. 😢
No dude, the outcome happened because Nicaragua did not demonstrate the need for provisional measures against Germany. It's a much weaker case than the one South Africa brought against Israel. This case may still go forward on the merits, I did not hear them throw it out completely (in fact, the judge said that both Nicaragua and Germany can submit arguments on the merits), so the case will continue.
Yeah it has nothing at all to do with the fact that Isreal is 💯 in the right! 🙄

It's weird how large the outcry is for this particular case of "genocide". At the same time we have similar things that can also very much be classified as a "genocide" all around the world but the global south and their allies only seems to care if the west supports the "genocide".
