A friend told me about your channel and I am really enjoying watching your videos. I am fascinated by these vintage rigs and it’s great to see them still working and being used. Thank you and 73
Dette så kaldt ut Helge. Fin video og det at du flettet inn signalet fra "andre enden" ble jo veldig bra. Fortsett å lage slike. Veldig interessant for oss med litt sære interesser :-). 73 de LA5MT, Asbjørn
Allo! In 1943, U-537 crew, installed an automatic weather radio station. Transmitter was a Lorenz 150 FK sending on 3940 Khz. Do you have such a transmitter? That would be an interesting topic. The frequency appears to me, a bit low for propagation back to Europe. Antenna was a 10 meter vertical. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weather_Station_Kurt
Yes, I have. www.la6nca.net/tysk/lo40k/lo150f1.jpg LO 150 FK 41s is a special version of the transmitter L040K39 used for automatic weather stations. This weather stations vas placed out in the Arctic region. The transmitter was mounted in metal tubes with same diameter as torpedoes. The weather station was placed out by a submarine.
I forgot to show that I set up the antenna. There is a 48 meter long wire attached to a fishing pole on a nearby hill. This is a 5/8 wavelength. I always use this.
Very nice Norwegian mountains view. I was surprised that the spy radios is quite a large piece of equipment to carry around in WW2......VA7VB

👌Nice. Thank you. I like the telegraphy key. I think it might have been a WT 8 AMP? The set sounds surprisingly stable on TX.
Yes, the tone from the transmitter is excellent.
It is crystal controlled.
Great video. 73 de EA3DMN
Great video Helge, what type of antenna were you using there? LA6NCA de G6PBS Colin 73 e e
Can you show us how to set up the torn eb receiver with the battery box the battery and anode battery?
Jag gillade din video mycket! Vet du om de som använde Berit-set under kriget sände meddelanden i klartext eller krypterat?
Takk for kommentaren.
Jeg tror alt var kryptert.
Tror de benyttet en engangskryptering.
Kan undersøke nærmere.

good question...
Is that the original Morse key that came with the radio.
I think it's the original one.
How many power it needs to RX or TX?
