Mama Coyote

Coyotes do not form packs but rather live in family groups. They will usually travel and hunt alone but sometimes join in loose pairs to take down prey. As a testament to the their adaptability, coyotes have been known to even hunt cooperatively with other species!
The coyote is smaller than its closest relative, the gray wolf, and slightly smaller than the closely related eastern wolf and red wolf. It fills much of the same ecological niche as the golden jackal does in Eurasia, however, the Coyote is generally larger.
Their beautiful coat, made to camouflage, makes them very hard to detect.
