I have the Mississippi Fred McDowell and Johnny Woods Album, bought it over 30 years ago and still have it! Their version of My Babe was just magic and so is yours. Thanks for all the emails and for the harp label stickers you do, fantastic job

Thanks so much. Such good playing & so expressive!
If you have a link where I could get into the just tuning relationship to the equal temperament. I am wondering how to compromise between the two by having the beats (or detuning) between two similiar notes done up or down to be closer to equal temperament. Ex: if the 3rd note of a scale is too high in equal, then reduce the beats downwards towards the just intonation direction. Please keep posting such beautiful videos.

I have heard you do this several times and I don't think I fully appreciated the richness that was added by the Just tuning as you described it. I tried hard to hear the complexities and, sure enough, I could hear the differences you suggest. You played your arrangement/version extremely well and the Just tuned harmonica did the rest. Well done. Thanks a million.

Thanks so much. Where does one get a "just intonation" tuned harp.

I retune all my harps to 7limit. It's what the harp was designed for.

That's way cool but there's a lot of music being played on harmonica that it wasn't designed for too!

@@janpeters-jansongsproducti1010 Great point. I mostly play old music, usually country, folk, and blues, so 7limit suits me, but it definitely wouldn't suit Howard or Jason.
