Yet another entertaining and informative review. Love both your enthusiasm for sound and your dry sense of humor. My DAW tells me that I have 530 plugins installed. I need to learn to use what I have, so stop tempting me. 🤣

LOL, dude that's a lot of plug-ins. Thanks for the compliments. Glad to know that people are enjoying the channel.

Excellent review! I agree that UJAM makes "entertaining" launch videos, but sometimes the entertainment overwhelms the purpose of the video i.e. clearly demonstrate what the Finisher is doing. I found your video to be entertaining, visually appealing, but most importantly showing the customer what the product does. The section of your video where you play the audio snippet dry and then boosted was just what was needed! Just add a dancing cat playing the piano next time and you will have made the perfect UJAM demo video - wink.

Thanks Shannon. I'll have to add dancing cats to my video checklist next time ;).

Air music tech has a synth called the the riser, you can also implement it to get similar results

I have one of Air's older synths, can't recall which one and it was pretty decent. I'll have to check out the riser one.

I'm trying to figure out how this differs from Devious Machines Infiltrator or like Sutter Edit, Cable Guys stuff and DS audio's Tantra 2. They all create riser like effects, but with more details to tweak and adjust with out using but loads of plugins and automation (as they're containers of butt loads of plugins and automation)Or is this purposely meant to be an easier solution for those who ever think that's too much? I only say that because Ujam made it see like this was innovative somehow. And while I'm not going to accuse them of crazy marketing talk, I just couldn't find the innovation (I mean, the plugin is damn cool. And if I had the 70 bucks right I would own it. I love all tweaky, sound design plugins)

You pretty much hit the nail on the head. Infiltrator can probably do the same things that Boost does, but Boost is easier because it's all set up for you. They set up multiple envelopes that are tweakable by just a couple of dials. A number of their presets also mimic some well known drops and risers in EDM music. Stuff that was probably made with some pretty high end gear.
To me Boost is mainly a time saver. And as much as I like Infiltrator, I will say that I think the audio quality of the couple of Ujam products that I have is just slightly better. I'm not sure what they do differently, but supposedly they make an engine that other audio companies use to create plugins.
      Thanks for watching!

I hate this kind of neurotic review where there everything is flashing and flying around and there is ABSOLUTELY no structure.
