Steps:
Step1 Power off and take out the SIM card tray
Step2 Remove the back cover
Step3 Remove the charging port
Step4 Install a new charging port
Step5 Test the new charging port

A good thing to know is that the back cracks very easily. Take care and dont try to bend it open. Great guide!
I just did this it’s fairly easy everything went well although getting the back glass off is a pain but patience and keep reapplying heat (not to much) and you’ll manage 👍
Using the heat gun and a suction pad with handle really helps when prying off the back. Thank you for this simple and easy to follow tutorial, my charging port had worn over time, 3 years strong! had no other issues with this phone.

That would be such a great help as i did repair my charging port but as i could not find that back cover adhesive i had to stick it with a slim double sided tape. The final result is not that bad but it feels a bit thicker than before.
Overall i am glad with the end result and thank you for the awesome video.
Finally i got rid of bending the charger cable and place it carefully on the table for my phone to charge. That was super annoying.

Hi dear. I have p20 pro as well and ı changed charging port like this. But when ı complete the job the touchscreen didn't work like doesn't touch for anything what could be reason and how can ı fix any idea would be great for me. Many thanks.

my huawei p20 pro mobile has a problem that when i connect charger than it get connect but after 2/3 sec it get disconnect..there is no charger problem..so what can i do now?
