This was super helpful! Thanks for the tutorial. I just watched your video trying out and loving Athens. Now that you may be using Athens as your main highlight, do you see yourself still using June for color correcting or does Athens pretty much cover it along with the Aspen?

What do you think about mango as a color corrector? I’ve seen people use that

It depends on what you’re covering. I do keep one in my palette and will mix it with my main over my acne scaring when they are extra angry. I know some people who like it for under eye correcting.

Magic mango. I really like it for red areas - around nose, cheeks…

What is the difference between Aspen and June for colour correcting. I have seen both on videos....

June uses a green undertone to correct redness like rosacea, I have scaring and like the grey tone of Aspen to mute my scaring and the density of it being a contour and I feel it hold my makeup longer over. Everyone is different and has a preference. I have customers who prefer June over Aspen. Both are great it just depends on what you prefer for you final look of your makeup 😉

I have been obsessed with all your color correcting videos. I have melasma on the majority of both cheeks and most of chin. I have had a heck of a time finding the right colors to correct it. Mango seems to work best but still can see it a lot. Frenchie and aspen are a big NO for me. I’d like to try another contour color to try to cover but I’m at a loss at which one may work. I swear I have every color and tone on my face. I finally told my artist today you always say it’s makeup, not magic. I’m not going to be able to cover it all the way but it’s the best coverage I’ve ever had in all the years of trying to deal with this. Thank you so much for all your tips and videos! They’re my favorite!

Thank you so so much! It is most definitely “Makeup not Magic” have you tried Bella??? Do you stipple after you put your corrector on? So many questions, if you have Indigo that would be worth a shot, it’s my favorite. I’m working on another corrector video so stay tuned!

@@makeupnotmagic I tried Bella early on but need to try it again. I stipple my main color and contour on like you taught me. Lol. Very careful not to move it.
Indigo to color correct like I tried with aspen or any of the other color correctors? I can borrow from my artist and see if that works. Can’t wait for your new video!!

@@andreamcgrew4522 I would correct with Bella and contour with indigo. So many combo possibilities. I do like correcting with Bella and contour with Olive, that seems to be the best so far.
