great video! the ease to create those effect is aa time saver for sure. I wish there was an option for kerning too between individual letters and not the whole word. Sometimes with the transformation presets, some letters collide each other so the option to adjust the spacing would be really helpful :)
Can you show how to attach a texture or grunge and crop out the background so the text is just textured? (using a regular font) For some reason, I cannot figure out a way to do this when I have a circle image and text above and below. I put the texture layer behind and try to crop so only the image and text contain the texture and then remove background and there are always stray bits left behind. I learn so much from your channel! Thanks for doing these.
Hey there! Right now, advanced clipping masks are not capable in Kittl, but we are working on it. However, you can certainly clip a texture to a design without the background, by selecting "clip content" over in the right side menu.
You couldn't have timed it better for me. I needed that last tutorial for a customer order. Thank you so so much x
Glad we could help!
This was by far the most important tutorial for me. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!

How can I put text on top of an image and knock it out so that you can see through the image?
True clipping masks are not yet available in Kittl, but we are working on a way to make that happen!
Is 'retro stroke' the name of the font ?
No, but you can type "retro" as a search term in the type settings to search all of our retro fonts.
Cam anyone direct me to a free retro stroke font
Hey there, we have tons of retro fonts in Kittl for you to use, and you can easily add the stroke to it as demonstrated in the video. :)
