I'm a mom of 3 and I really appreciate how I can somehow still hear your calm voice even when the kids are screaming or playing really loud. I also appreciate that you just share the chaos and root mealies 😂
A friend got me into Rhipsalis a few years ago. They survive with even less water than Hoya and are more forgiving, which is saying a lot. But when repotting, I find soaking the root ball helps divide them. Believe it or not I have let broken pieces heal over and then have just pushed them down in the newly potted divisions. At least 50% of the time they take just fine. So give that a try. Agreed about cacti in general or any plant that pokes you when trying to care for them😂 There are some very delicate looking Rhipsalis if you can find them, but they are just as tough. Wish cuttings could be sent to you from the states.
With your first plant, when I have been in this situation, I have used big green clips to hold the plant in place until the roots take hold. Usually about 3 months. Then I remove the clips and reuse. It's easier to repot. Also, have you ever tried pure crop in addition to water treatment for root mealies? It requires root treatment and then foliar treatment but it's safe for you and doesn't smell bad. Gia Phares introduced me to that when I was unhappy with azamax. I am also under the impression that keeping root mealies at bay still allows plants to get huge and happy without eradicating them. I still keep them in a separate area. Worth a try. It's not terribly expensive, at least in the states.
Looks great! Hope your trip was good.. I love that rhipsalis. I just got a cissus quadularis(?) and no idea how to take care of it yet.. Did you take care of your monstera yet? Have a great week 🌒
This looks fantastic, Miro! I have walls as well for my strictly limited count of 8 hoyas (which means I have 13) and 300+ orchids, or I would strangle in my jungle...
I am not sure what the ID is. It came without a label and I don't know much about ID-ing them. I do have a guess, but I did not put it in the video, because it could be wrong. But I think it could be Rhipsalis pachyptera.
Love the final look! The mix of plants is beautiful. Now about these roots mealies. They get a lot of screen time, but do they ever sponsor one of your videos?! They don't, do they! Rude! I vow to boycott them until they do right by you! 😊
Wait wht😮 i just did my the way you said it before 😢😢😢😢😢had not watch the video well i guess have to re do it I didn't like the way i did anyway😂😂😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉
The final look @36:19 is a must watch. You are welcome. 😂

They really need to at least sponsor the video considering how much screen time they take up, you are right! I will DEMAND a payment!
Love the wall...but I have to confess. It was me.. I did it. The root mafia made me a deal. 😉
