Despite being inactive for 4 years, Gfriend is still in the top 4 female groups with the most music show wins (71 wins). They are at par with RV in achievements. They are the best rookie of 2015 surpassing Twice and come head to head with them in 2016. It was the company that hindered their success tho.

She was ignored by the company most of the time and got few lines in their songs. She was purely the maknae. VIVIZ have no positions saying that they are all equal now. GFriend songs are so good. I think they probably left out around 80 of their songs in this program, any of which would have brought a smile to your face. They are the 4th most successful Girl Kpop group of all time with 71 music show wins and they set record after record in Korea which adores them. Everyone was devastated when their company terminated their contracts with only 4 days notice. They wanted to carry on for another 7 years at least. They were voted as having the best discography in Kpop by the public back in 2021 winning by a landslide and even beating the top boy groups with massive fan bases. This is because their B sides are so good and many could have been the title track, Rainbow for instance.
Maybe you watched Queendom in 2022? VIVIZ took part in that and they sang an incredibly emotional version of a medley of Rough and Time for the Moon Night which brought not only the audience to tears but even the contestants who were against them. It has more than 10 million views and is the most watched performance of the entire series.

Gfriend’s Synchronisation is legendary and a joy to the eyes when you watch their dance practices. I highly recommend you watch some of them and it would be great if you reacted to a particular song followed by the relevant dance practice. They are much better than the performance videos in my opinion. They are legends for dancing x2 speed so I highly recommend you watch that once you have seen the dance at normal speed. You will be amazed! They can even dance blindfolded!
Please pay attention to the APINK killing voice group. They have powerful vocals. This is a legendary 2nd generation band.Their relevance is still the best in k-pop. Almost all of their songs are hits
They didn't disband, but their shameless former agency unilaterally terminated their contracts even before they were fully over. For the sake of a 'new girl group project' with an agency that has recently been much discussed because of many problems, especially their past relationship with girl groups as if cursed to not have a 'daughter' who can live in harmony and side by side with the 'parents'. If I remember correctly, The former agency of these beautiful girls even tried to take over the trademark for the name 'G-Friend', the stage names of the members, and the works that have been released under their name. 4 years of patience and waiting, God through the courts said otherwise, the girls won the lawsuit, and now they legally have control over the name of this group as their identity and They can get back together and get back to their activities as one. VIVIZ will of course always be there too, maybe as a sub.
wow i miss gfriend, im so glad they are having a reunion. Their songs feel so nostalgic, a lot of people say they sound like anime songs. Also, you may have seen umji from viviz famous dance of their song maniac.
If you know Dreamcatcher.. I think G-Friend and Dreamcatcher are like two sides of a coin. If GF is on the bright side, then DC is on the dark side. Both of the group similar but also not the same.
