- Here's something kind of different, a 2000 Toyota Mark II Tourer V. Similar to the Chaser and Cresta, this Mark II is one of the trio of cars Toyota built for the Japanese Domestic Market. Equipped with the 1JZ-GTE VVTi motor, Torsen Differential, and a RWD 4 door platform. Please let me know what you think in the comments below!

it's so beautiful
Real classic beauty
There is many cars like this in eastern Russia 0 in europe hehe
True! I was living in Sakhalin back in 2002 and it was full of toyota chasers and Mark II. Lovely cars.
Legend !!!
beautiful car mate, im currently shopping for a jzx100 chaser to import but if i get impatient i was tossing up between a jzx100 mark ii or a jzx110 mark ii and im slowly coming around to the jzx100 variant, iv always preferred the rear of the mark ii over the chaser but both are nice, the chaser however has such a better looking front end
really legit one, nice
Im getting one soon hehe.. but probs be getting a mark irv
500th like!
Proud owner of a 1997 MarkII here
Классный обзор, жаль не на русском)
i have got a toyota grande four,2000 model,i need front differential ,mark 11 very cute
I've owned both but the manual version of the Toyota mark 11 is the best.
Love it.
Can't find the part of the video where you take it for a spin ?
Mathias Rathje Thanks for the comment, I just uploaded it today please check again.
nice ride, which company in Calgary do you deal with to import? im looking for a reputable one
This car came from Brian at b pro, he's a good guy.
I had a 1993 mark 2 in my home country, I modified it to make steering wheel to left it's great and amazing car. when I reach 100km/hr I return gear box to 2 then return it to D then the car fly really scary speed . Why it's not found here in USA
UAE?
Hi man does this have cruise control
Can you let me know, how comfortable and practical this car is? Is that comfortable in long drive?
It's good! Plenty of space for most folks (6'2" max or so), you can easily stretch out inside. It's not a big car by modern standards, but in the late 90s this was a firmly mid-sized sedan. Noticeably larger than IS300. Think camry/accord size. Definitely a good road trip car, with the only exception being that you cannot fold the rear seats down to increase the trunk space.
whats the diff code? B02D or B03C? because most the automatics are B02A which is an open diff (non torsen)
dailydrivenjzx The digits indicate the final drive, and the last character can indicate LSD. I was mistaken in this case, this car has an open diff. With Aristo and Supra B indicates LSD but that is not the case with jzx100.
most the jzs147 aristos have a LSD (the turbo ones) the later jzs161's are all open diff. most guys swap the B series 8" diff with a LSD one from a jzx. Most of my turbo jzx110's had an open diff with the code being B02B etc etc.....i think the magic end letter needs to be a C or D at the end which indicates a torsen LSD.
Yes I believe with the X chassis cars the ending letter must be a C or a D. I am not sure but I've read this on some JZX forums. I've had 2 JZS147 and one had the B (LSD) diff and the other was an A (open) diff. My Supra GZ is factory standard with LSD and it has a B on the build plate. I'm not sure why the X chassis are not consistent with the A or S chassis cars.
NightRush jzx diff codes a weird and spark a lot of Internet debates lol at first you are all happy but then realise it's an open diff. I had a torsen installed but there are plenty of options. some people go with cusco 1.5 or 2 way here in New Zealand.
whats the difference between this car and the auto chaser
phillip chida In the case of my chaser and this mark ii, this mark ii has a much more powerful engine. Since there are different versions of each car, the significant differences would be the styling to the exterior of the vehicle.
So do you buy a car and drive it for a while then sell it and buy a different one?
Yeah I used to, I haven't sold my last 3 cars though. Chaser, Supra, or Mark II
Can i buy one of these and take it back to the states..Cali?
In order to be federally legal there car needs to be 25 years old. I hear some states like California have really lax laws at their DMV and it may be possible to register and drive a car like this there, but there's always a risk it will be seized.
Hey, tell me where they sell these cars in Usa?
Want to buy Tourer V
i am from russia
@@nickp4272 that's right, as long as it is 25 years old, you can import from Japan. In Canada you can import at least 5 years old cars
How did it hold up man
These are great cars, I sold this mark ii a while ago but my chaser (from another video) is still my daily driver for over 4 years and it’s never given me a single problem.
dude how you went from an LS to this.. I'm from Edmonton and wouldn't trade my LS400 for anything.
I'll get another ls when I'm older. Now is the time for turbo jz
Do u still have it?
@@ao8271 sold it last year bro, got a rx350. The LS was best vehicle I ever owned though
@@haltzy what year was the rx350?
@@ao8271 07 bro
So the paint isn't factory? Looks pro.
It is factory single stage Toyota super white ii
Front end styling ripped off the legend coupe.
Интересно где снимают в США? или Австралия?
Alberta, Canada
My House literally have Two of these
not as nice but yeah Toyota's anyway
Did you ever figure out what that rattle sound was at 5:36
I have a 2000 mark 11 grade and I will never part with it for any other car
Sardeen tin bade the gitar/car
calgary ;)
PepsiMan seen it on Kijiji ;)
You have a supra
I almost dropped when I saw it was automatic
most x chasis coming into canada are unfortunatly auto.
Mark 2 travels in USA XD.
its dope but....auto tho?
Well like I said, the 5mt is double the price, you're better off buying a clean auto and swapping then buying a 5mt (in most cases).
this car sucks, worst car / 10
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
