Lou Reed's "Walk On The Wild Side" was written partly about Andy Warhol superstar/transgender actress Holly Woodlawn. Here is an excerpt about Holly from a 1996 show that I was editor for titled "Hollywood Blvd.", directed by Leonardo Colla for Swiss Television. It also features an appearance by silent film star Anita Page. R.I.P. Holly Woodlawn 12-6-15.

Holly was only 2 months older than me,,, although it was very sad when she passed in 2015,,, I'm glad she can't see Hollywood now,,,, if she were alive, it would probably kill her to see what's happened,,,,😢💖💋
