Nathan Burney is a graduate of Sydney Film School who has continued to consistently create and produce his own film work. He has his own production company, Burning Pictures, and regularly works with other SFS graduates. His company has produced multiple short films, which have received various accolades. His film ‘Roar: A Short Story’ was submitted to the Take48 Film Festival, and was awarded Third Place. Others include his Festival Film at SFS, Ain’t No Sunshine, Matriarch (2023), and most recently, Indigo (2023), which won Best Film and Best Director at the Blue Heeler Film Festival.
