Halfway through but I kinda like soO's strat of not giving his opponent a base to kill before it's fully saturated, keeping a compact&defensible setup, then having the drones to instantly saturate it when it is done; and likewise banking up money like a Protoss so the instant a tech switch is available, he can fully commit. It's like how you don't want to dribble in units as a Zerg to defend, you want a critical mass, and that's what soO is targeting, achieving critical mass in every aspect. Anti-meta, keeps Terran off balance
@@chir0pter his macro was just uncharacteristically bad. Spending 800 minerals on drones just to oversaturate his bases for a few minutes while floating 2k/2k is not a strategy
Can you try something Harstem? Why not Play Terran and put 1 BC over each expansion without using them in the attack? Wouldnt this shutdown every runby? And in emergencies you just teleport them in but only as a last resort.
Not really. BCs do a lot of DPS, but esspecially banelings can do all there damage before the BC can really deal with them. Plus, so 6 supply and i think 400/300, you are way better off just going for a wall off with a bunker full of marines, unless you just have 2 BCs left from an opener and don't want to bother microing there harrass.
Not to be rude or anything, nor to imply that I could do anything better, but soO's plays these games really were... underwhelming to say the least. Maybe I just don't understand the game well enough, but he seemed to be crippling himself with indecision and hesitation. It never felt like he fought for momentum at any point.
@@kaiser2261 Glad it wasn't just me who felt it. It feels bad criticizing somebody who I could never beat myself, but yeah, it regrettably really felt like an off-day for him. It wasn't a very good match to watch because of that, sadly.

I read that as Harstem being sarcastic
@@kaiser2261 It didn't work out for soO but arguably it's because he gave the game away with one bad fight at the end!

Perhaps. Not sure about the exact numbers. BGMWSS idea at minimum.
around 33:00-34:00 i see a terran unit in zerg's main
Harstem should make chess content with all the references
Nah, chess is boring.
Nuke 4 and 5 were in reverse order, than you expected. You need to pause at 48:10 to see it.
Ryung needs to change his gamer tag to “Mech Butler” - Great idea Captain!
I was disappointed that the captain didn't make the changeling joke 1 more time but he redeemed himself with the broodlord song.
Soo is infamous for his lack of spellcaster control. So no surprise there

Harstem, please come to Brazil.

Agree. He’d stomp me any day of the week but pretty sloppy stuff.
He floated 2k/2k in the midgame twice. Clearly an off day but it happens

It's seducer, not seductioneer 🙂
