I've had my BK 2000 for 5 years now. It is great after family dinners for entertaining the crew. It does play fast by once you get the hang of it, it is a blast. My wife teaches kindergarten and plays after a frustrating day with the kids to vent.

I miss playing Black Knight 2000 at my local arcade back in the day. It's a shame it's so hard for me to find. I find first game all the time, but never 2000. The music just makes the game and having Steve as the host is awesome.
Actually Black Knight 2000 is pretty easy to play. You cam play that game only on the upper playfield and when the ball is coming down just hold the flipper. Now you can make a shot to the upper playfield again. I did a 34 million highscore with that strategy :D
No mention of the King's Ransom? The first Wizard Mode in Pinball history? For shame! Anyway, this has GOT to be my favorite table of all time, mainly because of the incredible music. It's fast-paced, and never feels like the game's slowing down, for a second. It's brilliant.
been playing loads of this of recent, tip on the upper playfield is to nudge the table forward as the ball hits the rubbers and hop it along back to the top flipper, if you can get the hopping down you do far better in the game
I just got PremiumLEDs for my BK2K (pinball-led.co uk ). Yes you need to chose the matching colours for the inserts. These were the brightest I could get, moreso than previous LED purchases. I don't regret it, the game looks stunning. For the record the music may be 80's cheese but IMO it's still an amazing and bonkers soundtrack.
Good memories on this table. It s my second favorite of all time. I also was pretty good at it. It s pretty intense indeed and you shouldn t feel ashamed if you suck at it. Just practice some more and try to hold the ball on your flippers a little more often to take out some of the speed on the lower level. Just raise the flippers when you don t feel safe. If the ball goes out of control you will loose it real quick so try and keep the speed down a bit. Once you get the hang of it this game is really badass. Also try to get that Ransom somebody else mentioned, this almost insures a high score and this progress will be saved even after the game is over. You can see it on the video too, it saved 4 letters already
Is there a mode to get DK 1,2, and 3 in one cabinet? Tell Dan to finishing off his basement and hang up some drywall. DK3 is going to come back full of fiber glass. :)

I have played the actual BK2 pin a few times and it is better than the first black knight in my opinion - I think it is different enough from the old one but I understand your concern - hopefully you will be pleasantly surprised

I lost track on the count of how many times I lost track of the ball in motion. Darn, that one does move quickly.
Not that hard to overcome, but you have to play it a lot.

Loved this game. Sucked at it royally, but the music was amazing.
I loved the original game, but not a lot of arcades had it.
Pinball Arcade should've port this sequel in addition to the original.
There are some multi-boards that will allow you to have all three games in one cab. And, there is some "nintendo switchers" in the works.

My second was/is F14 Tomcat from Williams too. Had so many great times playing them. I miss those times...
