    I highly recommend the oster pro 1200. It’s a much more realistic comparison verse the ninja.
    I also love that oster has glass jars for making.

      Oster, hot peppers, spices, salt, cider vinegar = HOT SAUCE. Yummm.

    Comparison should have been with Oster Pro 1200, similar price point.

    I'll take the glass over plastic no matter how great the blending is

    • @bookbeing
      @bookbeing 2 роки тому +2

      Totally agree with you on this. Glass is so much better. Plastic parts feel cheap, harder to clean/ sanitize and made to wear out quickly.

    I wanna ninja but is not glass that's why I prefer oster

    I have a Oster blender that was my parents; so its at least 40 years old and its still works well. It has a pulse/ice feature and 16 speeds as well as a high and low speed feature. I will say this, 40 years ago people weren't using these for making health food smoothies.

    The Ninja is great...
    Also, Omg your son peaking at 9:14 sent me 🤣

    11:02 I fully agree with her. The oster really isn't the best at doing too many things. But it's a great $40 (mine was $26) blender when it comes to smoothies. Also it makes great bread crumbs. Still ninja is always going to be better. The oster is really just a starter blender when it comes to it. Still worth the $40 or $26 price tag.

    I bought the Ninja... Took it back. Anything that requires a special brush to clean (because the pitcher is all one piece) is too high maintenance. (I replaced it with the Oster. 😅)

    Even people on a budget can afford to get the ninja at least one time because they last longer and go far
    I broke my oyster after even 4 uses trying to make smoothie bowls. Big difference

    Hahaha im living in a poor country and want to buy a ninja. I was looking on the youtube and saw you guys. You are very funny. 😂 I was sad to spend a lot of money but you made me feel better at least.

    5:52 "The Duralast is not bad, its really not!" Haha what the hell-- she called the Oster a Duralast LOL. Innocent mistake but hilarious

      It IS an Oster Duralast. Says so right on the front.

    I have an old oster, you just need to cut fruits like apple into pieces , not big chucks .

    • @bookbeing

      The older ones are built far better and blend better than newer made ones with same brand.

  • @Sou7hernLady

    I used my Oster a few times before it started to cut iff on its own. All I made was smoothies. Bought. Ninja Pro 1000 w, I hope it lasts longer.

  • @keithnewton5508

    Oster does sell a blender bowl made for chopping it is lower wider smooth and works great for things like salsa. Also I would like to mention that cutting the apple first to fit in the Ninja meant that you were comparing apples to cut up apples. The old school blender bowls were always terrible for chopping that is why we all bought blenders.

    Ninja doesn’t blend things right, it throws it up n down n makes it chunky lol the Oster actually liquifies stuff. But if ur using to crush ice then it’s ninja for sure .

    I do have several VitaMix blenders with the plastic cup and a few vintage models with stainless steel. To retrofitted it for stainless steel the process is rather involved and expensive. A glass cup, all metal drive and auto shut-off is the functions I want. I have selected the Oster. Did you know that Stephen Poplawski invented the kitchen/bar blender then Hamilton Beach acquired the manufacturing rights to produce them?

    • @Bembeleke

      Oster has the stainless steel option in slim and 64oz. 😎

    I have an Oster and I HATE it. I tried making salsa. It grinds OK on the BOTTOM, but I had to keep pushing the ingredients down to get them incorporated. Even making a simple milk shake is a pain. Granted, my Oster is several years old, but after watching several reviews, it doesn't appear that much has changed.

    • @ClaireHarper072
      @ClaireHarper072 2 роки тому

      If you still have it and are trying to use it for salsa or anything like that on a daily. You can also use a smaller jar, a Mason jar will also work if it has the black jar end. If not then you're better off using a better ade or new blender.

  • @OhJodi69
    @OhJodi69 8 місяців тому

    Maybe actually read the instruction manual for the Oster. For one thing, you don't put whole apples and oranges into it, LOL

  • @royruther4895
    @royruther4895 2 роки тому

    My Oster blender is hard to clean. The bottom part either doesn't stay on and juice goes through or it's too tight to remove when I want to clean it. Also, I have to scrub the inside. Rinsing won't remove anything. And with the bottom not wanting to come off, it's even harder to clean.

    • @OhJodi69
      @OhJodi69 8 місяців тому

      Do you have the round rubber ring that you put on the bottom before screwing it to the jar? A lot of times those go missing, becauae people aren't aware that it's there to begin with.

      Yep. It makes it also makes it a whole lot easier to make smoothies and crush ice with the food/ice/frozen fruits being a lot closer to the blade.
