Abandoned HOARDER House Full of Vintage Electronics
Вставка
- Опубліковано 25 чер 2024
- The previous owner bought this house in 2016 for 1.4 million dollars for land value only. The previous occupant was a hoarder and collector of mostly vintage electronics. The hoarding took place outside and inside the home. Searching Google Earth it showed the property just full vehicles and items. There was a number of complaints from the city and neighbours to remove all the items from the property and inside the home as it was fire hazard and eyesore. The former occupant ended up being evicted in 2021 and the house has been abandoned since. The property will now be developed and new luxury homes will be built in its place.

About me:
I have been exploring abandoned places since I was a child and now I would like to film the explores and share the videos with you.
My father took me to my first abandoned house when I was 7 years old. I remember going into the house and a old farmer came in and told us "we better watch out as the floors are all rotten and unsafe". Ever since that day I was hooked on exploring abandoned places.
If you have a location you would like to share with me or want me to explore for you please send me an email at abandonedurbexcanada@hotmail.com and I will give you full credit for the share in the description and during the video if you choose.

If a thrift store threw up, this is what it would look like 😬
😂
What a beautiful house!!! It should be preserved and resold
Not when greedy developers can put 4 houses on that lot. Sad indeed.
Brent so nice, love your videos. Hope you at least have a can of mace to take out a wicked squatter
This was a good one! My husband would go crazy in there because he loves electronics! As always, thank you for taking us along with you.
Same here! My husband would love this ..Id be afraid he'd bring some of it home, though. 😆
@@janeblake5083 Taking any of it home would be a bad idea. That would be considered theft.
I should have added that I was not seriously considering doing this. Growing up, my dad and I used to explore abandoned homes after we got permission, but my dad's code of ethics was "pretend you're a ghost - see everything but neither touch or take anything''
So the city complained about the mess and evicted the person yet left the mess, fire hazard remains so good job city.
Thank you for another great tour Brent! Lovely old home that looks like it could be cleaned out & fixed up, and then house a lovely & caring family!
So sad!
I believe you're correct, they probably carried several items inside from the yard, attempting to improve "appearances". Perhaps the renter just "wheeled & dealed" and "traded or sold" items from his home...
Whatever, it makes me sad😢
Thanks for your hard work and dedication in providing the very best in Exploring the abandoned homes & properties❤ You made me laugh when you said, "how am I going to get over tgere into that other room?".... Then, "guess I'll have to climb over".....
You were so cute!😂
Oh Brent, I'm a silly old lady. Momma of 4 sons, one step son, and one grandson. You're like my boys. Never fail to bring me joy! Appreciate seeing so many places in Canada!!! You have a lovely country❤ I spent a week in Quebec in a one room log cabin on a lake, only accessible by boat in summer and atv or snowmobile in winter; what they call now, "off the grid" I believe. Totally fell in love with everything about it. That was in June 1971. Sadly, I was never able to return.
Thank you for the joy you bring to so many of us "oldies"❤
Don't you know!! NEVER OPEN FRIDGES!!!😂😂😂😅
I get very greedy seeing all those interesting electronics wow nice find.
Guitar case at 4:12, always look in the guitar case! Inquiring musicians want to know! LOL
Real shame on this house that it will be knocked down. Besides all the junk in the way the house looks to be in really nice shape. A real good cleaning and some repairs, I would definitely live here. Great video as always!!!
Brent, that was an awsome find. The house looks to be late 40s or 1950s build judging by the door knobs and doors and heat ducts , window trim. It looks like someone was going to do some more upgrades to the home at one time. 👍🤠
Yes, those large heat ducts were used in the old convection coal or gas furnaces. I’d guess 30’s or 40’s at the latest.
Thank you for sharing!!! What a mess people can make!!! Ugh!! Wow! There is some good stuff in there!! I hope someone goes through it before it gets ruined.
The whole place gives me anxiety, I couldn’t stand to live in that kind of chaos. You made me gag when you opened the fridge.
Same, here. Cleaned out, it might be nice, great color scheme! Fabulous shelving and "vintage electronics"!
Lot of stuff in there!, Looked like most of the Electronics were from 1990s to early 2000s, That portable TV/Radio was probably from the 1980s, Cool Piece!
TV was colour, and from pretty much 1986 or after as the screens were rounded before that and pretty much only b&w. Colour portables in 1985 were really expensive. Those sets didn't last like the full size ones.
@@RetroCaptain Yeah I figured mid 80s on that!, I remember seeing those in the stores and like you said most were B&W and were kind of pricey!
@@jdpinbaytown If you factor in how long they lasted vs the cost, (& how it was only a vacation set) they weren't worth it.
The b&w ones sold a lot more but again they didn't last long.
That colour one is a bit collectible for sure.
I am shocked the squatters have not taken the electronic stuff and sold it
I didn't see anything that indicated squatters, but I did see stuff that indicated a hoarder lived there.
@twobrokeguyz1214 my husband said he wanted to rent a uhaul 😂
I just turned to him and said, "Um nooo!"
That house is gorgeous!! Those old doors and windows are beautiful!! With those stereo systems and speakers, one hell of a block party could be thrown!! I absolutely love this place!!! ❤❤❤❤
What a nice vintage home! Clear the clutter out and it would be livable. I've seen worse houses brought back. So sad. Hope some salvage is done.
How sad, that must have been a beautiful home at one time. If they were a hoarder wonder why didn't they take all that stuff with them. Thanks for an interesting explore.
Wow what a gem! Thanks for sharing! I have to say, what a shame to leave all that stuff behind!!😢 They should have sold some to make 💴
Name stealer! Really, Cindy? 😂😂
Epic find. Unbelievable that someone actually lived in that mess.
Wow Brent!!! I'm an electronics nerd myself. That basement would've been the equivalent to a candy store to me! 🤣👍
Omg! After this, I clean my house, maid was just in lol.
Wow, that’s crazy! There was so much stuff. I think you are right , a lot of that stuff was worth some money!!
Love from India 🇮🇳
One of your most extraordinary explores yet. Basement was unbelievable. Thanks for sharing - stay safe and warm.
Seems like someone once lived there with some personal demons. I hope they are doing well now, wherever they are.
There is nothing like climbing over odds ends and everything in between. 😊
Really cool house. Shame it's going away. I've had some high end stereo systems in the past and would love to go through there and piece another one together. The size of some of those amps...wow! I'd love to have seen what was in the LMC Truck box in the basement. I order stuff from LMC for my old Dodge pickup...lol. Great video!
I bet there's a lot of vintage stuff. I would love to explore this site and hopefully some of this will/can be reclaimed
Great video. ❤ Love all the electronics!
But I can't believe how expensive land is there, crazy. 😮
I repair electronics and while I keep some things for parts, this is a lot. I'm thinking the person that lived here was a picker and tried to flip their finds. Great video! I would have passed out when I walked into the basement and saw all that stuff. It's a shame it'll all be dumpstered one day and wasted.
Good find, that house was packed with a electric hoarders dream
You got your wish Brent! Thanks for the video.
Thank you for taking us with you.
I was so worried about you during this xplore !
I had visions of your skeleton being retrieved in 2054 under a pile of electronic antiques !!
Please please be careful we need you in one piece !!
However as usual you bring us a fascinating insight into someones messy brain !!
My ocd brain would never cope with such mess !
How does one person collect so much gear ? He literally took nothing with him after all his collecting. Such a shame.
Obviously it was fun while it lasted !
As usual I love this explore and thanks for taking us along.
Please be careful.
Love fron UK as usual
Janice 🇬🇧 xxx
It would have been so much fun exploring this place with you!
Great Video Brent. Unbelievable amount of Electronics. Seems like a waste just to sit there. Thanks for Filming this explore. Always look forward to the next.
Abandoned urbex Canada thanks for sharing this video with me it was a very amazing house a lot of stuff it was really left behind what a waste and thanks again and God Bless.
This is a very pretty house, love the windows and woodwork. Its a shame it wound up like this could have been made to look very cozy !💯 Great find Bret, thanks for sharing
Wow that is a lot of electronics! Cool video. ❤️😘🤘👍
I've definitely seen worse hoarded houses but your vid and hoarder all in one makes me happy!
Beautiful old house lots of cool things
After seeing this "creepy basement", I want to re-watch "The Conjuring"!
Wow, what an incredible house.... I wish someone could use the electronics, and it would be loved again and wouldn't be torn down. But sounds like the land is much more valuable and the structure is too far gone.
Thank you so much for taking us along! Greetings from the South U.S., yeah stay warm please
What a great explore. You are brave to crawl over stuff. Surprising no dead things in the mix. We really like your videos. Stay well, safe and happy. Chris and Dave
Thanks Chris and Dave!
Some of those amplifiers are work 1000s
Brilliant explore
God bless 🙏
7:22 That eagle is awesome!
Vintage and somewhat current electronics. If the last occupant moved in 2018, that means he must've packed that basement back to front! Not all, but a LOT of those computers and the home audio & video equipment was outdated when he moved in! I've never seen a somewhat organized electronics hoarder like this..great content once again!
I wouldn't suspect he was an electronics repair guy or electrician because the home was free and clear of ANY tools, wires or spare parts. Just an enthusiast I'm pretty certain, (I'm a home theater installer).. in fact, not even any loose cables? 🤔
Extra ordinary! Supercalifragilistic!
My in laws were hoarders. What a nightmare when they passed!!!
Thanks for the tour! I watch several explorers and ur my favorite. Keep it up!!! And stop opening those fridges!!
Brent evening thank you for another video like hanging with an old friend telling adventurous stories 😊
Daddy is not nice 😢 …that house holds many secrets .
I wish these developers would back off and let the middle class rehab this house! Spending 4 million for somewhere to live for one family leaves many out in the cold. I like the bedrooms with slanted ceilings along with the woodwork throughout the house! I don’t think the developers are listening but I just had to voice my opinion ❤!😂 Thanks for taking us through! Love your channel!❤
YES!! Thanks Brent!😊👍🍿
You’re welcome!
What a great find! It’s amazing how much you can get into a space 😀. But you make it so interesting. Thank you for sharing ❤❤❤
This house is beautiful if well organize.
This house is better inside than outside. And many of these things could be donated. What a shame it will all end up abandoned. Congratulations on the video 👏👍🇧🇷
Funny how the closets are empty!
Crazy amount of things left behind and not just trash great find.
Unbelievable! All that stuff that must have cost a fortune when new, just left abandoned. The house was pretty clean though - no rubbish- just the usual obligatory smelly fridge. I love your explores Brent - always interesting. Thank you.
Good thing that tv stopped you from opening that fridge all the way.
I totally get his guys way of thinking - „Looks cool + it’s free, might be useful one day. I will fix on e I have the time“ Probably worth 2000 USD on eBay if the stuff works. NAD CD player and Sinclair worth at least something. The rest ist $5 auctions. A big house is definitely dangerous for hoarders.
ALWAYS enjoy your explores!!!
Thanks for the tour. Hoarding is quite often a symptom of a Mental Health Disorder. I hope that the person that lived in that home and was evicted is safe where ever they are.
I'm guessing that the house was abanded by the owner because they were unable to get fire insurance until the place was cleared out.
It would be terrible if in the event of a fire a firefighter got injured/killed while searching for people in the house. Inaddition there maybe items in the house that could explode, cause toxic fumes etc.
It's a pretty house. I came here for the "Vintage Electronics"! Thanks! I am looking for computers to gaze at!
I love your video's ❤Thank you for taking us along ❤️
Excellent video as always Brent!! Thanks for sharing!! Always look forward to a new video from your channel!
I love your videos you make us feel like we are on the explore together
I like the electronics, if cleaned out and fixed up, that would be a nice house. Sad it is being replaced.
You should’ve looked in the guitar case near the tonka truck.
Empty
Thank you for all your hard work😊
Thanks for the awesome video that house was crazy alot of junk
That house is an example of as serious Hoarding Mental Disorder 😢
I look at these situations as a mental health issue. This person probably didn’t realize his or her condition causing it to escalate. It’s sad and truly disheartening to see a beautiful home gone to waste.
"Ugghh that's nasty" took me out 😂😂🤣
O wow this place is electrifying 😅
The basement seemed more organized than the rest of the house, so perhaps the earlier comment about them just taking stuff from outside and putting it inside is correct.
Wow, that was crazy!
This is my nightmare lol. I can’t even stand estate sales lol.
Hello Who beautiful I love vidéo 👍👍👍❤❤❤🐦🐦😺👋
It's going to take alot of work to clean that one up. Alot of good stuff tho.
Best video from you yet! Good find Brent! Enjoyed watching this one!
Oh wow thanks my friend 👍🏻
*Firefighter **_NIGHTMARE!_** so much stuff to attempt to locate a victim in, so many opportunities entrap a firefighter.*
Fascinating and sad! 😑
Fantastic explore Brent as always 👍👍
My house is clean, immaculate!!
My wife watched a lot of your videos and we really enjoyed them so much that I subscribed to your channel. Looking forward in seeing more videos. Keep up the great work. You really need to stop opening fridges and deepfreezers. 😂
Hey thanks so much for watching and subscribing! Welcome to my channel 👌🏻
I explored a house similar to this last year. I passed by it hundreds of times to visit my uncle who lives on the same road. Finally, my curiosity got the better of me. The house was stockpiled full of stuff. One room wasn't even accessible because there was so much stuff inside. There was a very narrow pathway in another room that allowed me to explore the rest of the house. I don't think this place was a case of hoarding but a case of storage. From my understanding, the owner lives overseas in Japan. There was even a garage with some really neat farm equipment. It's such a shame, really, because it's an old ornate farmhouse that's falling to pieces.
Would love to see it 👌🏻
Good to see your latest video
Too bad. That would have been a decent, normal house for normal people to live in at one time.
Great video Brent!
You just walked passed a GUITAR CASE!! Ahhh.
Lol. I love music gear. I'm not even 5 minutes in, I dont know if I can hang in for this one.
Empty
@@AbandonedUrbexCanada ok! Lol. Thanks for letting me know.
That's why I spend the warmer months hitting every yard sale I can.
Someone out there doesnt want their " old Les Paul".
Good job as always Brent!!
This is great ! Watching now in Australia 🇦🇺😊
Cool explore of the house yet yikes 😱 that’s a lot of stuff omg.
Even the upstairs floor is a pigsty, gawd!
Great exploration
Love this video 📸😊
Wow ! That was incredible and so crazy !! Loved it !! Please more like this. Thanks for showing us these fantastic finds ! Stay safe ❤🇨🇦👍
It's a collector until you can't see the floor, then it is a hoard.
Never seen so many TV,s in one place holy crap!!!
That place was awesome
