Nice to see this video. I was born in Northern Ireland but moved to Whitley Bay in 1963 as a 5 year old. For many years we went 'home' a couple of times a year. We used to sail on the Stranraer to Larne route on the old Sealink ships. many a time we actually had a cabin and would wake up before the ship had actually left. When the Cairnryan port was opened I think the ships went straight to Belfast. This was better for us, as we were usually driving to my uncle (Holywood) or my Grandma (Bangor) Regards !
