Hmmm before the new region released I'd always say that if you are geared enough full pen c9+ then ye you can go with it but with the new region everyone has more accuracy and imo its not that good anymore. I'd go dr and build accuracy or ap instead honestly. You can still run it for sure but its not ideal.
Yes it is unprotected, but if timed well a shield charge -> quick Counter and C swap after the CC, is a really quick and sort of protected way to reapply CC. Will still get caught every once in a while but if used right can be pretty good.
When succession came out I played succ warrior coz its op and can kill mobs faster than awakening. Then took a break from the game for 10 months, so is warrior awakening better than succession when it comes to farming nowadays?

At the end of the day just play whatever you want to play, nowadays they are pretty neck and neck.
