Good job. You'll probably recoup the cost of polyiso board and liquid nails inside of one season, meanwhile having consistent warmth. Sealing air gaps around the entry door, and the garage door including the top should help heaps too. And if you don't mind sacrificing some view, but still allow for light to come in, you can put some clear bubble wrap up over the windows for addl thermal barrier - another option for the windows is to add an extra interior pane, but far more timely and costly. I'm about to get going on my G-door which is solid wood plank style, 1&3/4 thick all the way across, and from what I've read wood has very low R value, like R1 per inch. It requires some diff mounting techniques, but I got some good ideas from you. Thanks

This added weight messes with the balancing on the door opener?

Hi, does it matter which way the foil faces? I would have assumed you would face them inwards to reflect heat but then facing it out could reflect the cold...so it kinda sounds like it doesnt matter..... ???

Inwards probably would have been better, but i don't know how much it matters
