I like the school ❤and the school loves me, but as an international student, the United States Embassy wouldn't grant me a Visa. Its extremely unfair and racist.

I didn’t know that DEI was the reason for going to college. Keep drinking the Kool-Aid! Indoctrination is alive and well. I thought school was about merit in fields such as math, science, history, philosophy. Apparently, I was wrong.

I agree. But honestly, Miami isn't what you'd consider a woke campus, when comparing to genuinely woke campuses out here.
I have the same beliefs and feelings as you. My daughter fell in love with the campus and is heading there in a few weeks. But that was a concern of mine, as well. School should be about teaching, and that's it. I think they've mentioned these things just to cater to those looking for that. Which is ridiculous in and of itself. I really hope the campus as a whole isn't focused on this. I don't think it belongs in our education institutions at all. If people want to have those beliefs in their personal lives, that's fine & is their business. Making it "a thing" is unnecessary. I've heard good things about the school tho.& I'll learn more soon.
